Seed Eater Experiences

Post by taylortexas on Thu Dec 23, 2010 3:22 am

Has anyone else seen this?

http://seedeater.blogspot.com/

Apparently this has been floating around the internet since April, but only recently has come to my attention. I don't remember it ever being mentioned here. I think the folks here would definitely enjoy it, those who are into the whole blog scene anyways. Without giving too much away, it deals with some sort of entity. It bares many resemblances to our good old friend, but is certainly not him. The last post was made in September, so I fear it may have come to some sort of anticlimactic end. With any luck, it's just an unexpected delay and the author will continue working on it. I really liked it, I could see the Seedeater spiraling into something huge like Slenderman has. I certainly felt myself revisiting that excitement I first felt in the original Create Paranormal Images thread. This is definitely worthy of taking a peek at.

Whoops! I don't think I was even aware of the Chaotic Fiction forum. Good call.

Well I finally read over this. It does have my interest, as the seed-eaters remind me a little of Slendy and a lot more of this monster from Silent Hill (yes Silent Hill does in fact connect with everything).

The unique presentation and ambitious use of /x/ are definite cool factors, but the indistinct images are possibly a bit low-effort and the overall effect is that this should have more content having been around for so long.

Nonetheless, I like it, and it makes me happy to have another random creature of evil to study up on and spread pasta about.

I've been following Seed Eater from the start, and am pretty active in it. I'm actually friends with Howry on Facebook (yay!) and like to keep up to date. I'm really rahter glad that he's going more towards a visual approach now. The PDF was a good way to go, and now that he's adding actual videos, this could turn out to be a good series if he keeps it up. Main thing now is that we need to actually have some sort of direct visual or contact with the Seed Eater.

Sorry if this is a big bump.

It's all right, I recently started reading this and I'm in the middle of the pdf. It is quite good. I know Lisaeverymore is up to date with it.

Okay, this is definitely something I need to read through. I've heard the name Seedeater floating around on Tumblr, but no-one really seems to know what it is.

I hope it scares the shit out of me!

I'm interested to see what he's going to do with this Max Ockerman twist. Well alright I'm pretty sure I've already sussed how this new plot device is going to be applied, but he might still surprise me and if it's well-done then it's good even if it does go how I'm expecting it to

I really do wish to follow this series very closely, but unfortunately forget quiet often to check in on it. I really like it though, the Seedeater freaks me out quiet a bit. Perhaps more than Slendy, oddly enough.

I can't lie, my enjoyment of this mythos is being strained with the addition of the poetry Tumblr. The Master of Ceremonies seems to have just thrown a bunch of channels into the mix (Max Ockerman, Ted Laramie, and now this guy) with no clear focus

To be honest...The Seedeater and The Slenderman were a match made in heaven.

Perhapse a series will one day open the door to their extensive love life.
