I made a post about a slender man-based dream in the slender man short stories forum and it was deleted. I assume. I've not had any notification about it, but it's not there anymore. it was entitled 'sleeping troubles'. can anyone explain to me why it was deleted, because if it was in the wrong section, I'd like to have saved it or at least have been told where to put it instead of it just vanishing off the face of the earth.

Chances are it was perceived as gamejacking. Here at Slender Nation, we're not particularly big on in-game things, and if the post about your dream looked like it was in-game (i.e., you were attempting to tell a false story and present it as real). I'm not saying that you were lying about your dream, and I haven't actually seen the topic, but it sounds like it might have been perceived that way.

...no. it was very dream esque, nobody could have mistaken it for reality/impressioned reality. In fact, the first thing I said was 'last night I dreamt...'

Didn't see the topic but I assume this is just a case of mis-wording leading to misinterpretation that it was someone speaking in-character about having a dream of Slendy. Even dreams can be percieved as in-character if they're worded the wrong way, since characters do frequently dream of him.

Either way, what probably added to the misinterpretation is that you posted it in the short stories section which is for writing projects. I think all that combined is probably what led to it being simply deleted instead of moved like normal.

For future knowledge, this is where all the dream stuff goes: https://slendernation.forumotion.com/t13-dream-encounters
