How does he eat?

I never really had the impression that slenderman needs to eat, at least not in most of the stories. He's either supernatural or some sort of unusual energy being, and neither of those who have a need to eat (although the "energy being" angle might add in a need to absorb energy in some other way). His reasons for killing people vary, but i doubt that he does it because he's predatory in very many blogs.

The way I see it is he's simply a supernatural being. Do ghosts and demons eat? I figure if he eats it all it would simply be feeding off of people's fear and confusion. It's the simplest way to explain why he does the things he does.

I've always thought he doesn't need to eat at all, and he just takes his victims to another dimension, so he can mind rape them at his convenience.

I just figured he didn't need to eat. But if he did, I bet it would be off of something mindrape-y. I don't think he eats his victims, because that seems too reasonable for him.

My whole theory is that Slendy is a manifestation of all suppressed human fear and that he exists solely to cause anxiety and eventually destroy people from the inside out. I think he simply feeds off people's madness and, since he is an immaterial being, is able to consume their being simply by locking them in his tendrils....well, I haven't gotten that far yet....

I would agree with some of the other posts in that he is a supernatural being with no need to eat, drink or sleep.

This is good ideal... Why eat the slenderman kids?

I always figured the reason he went after kids was because they broke easily. Then he just drank in their shattered minds like a sorta of fear vampire. This is kind of why I get him not just killing adults, they might get scared but they can control it better then kids, so it takes longer. Plus if they are dead no minds to feed on no meal.

I've been in the mythos for a while, since Marble Hornets was in mid first season. Not as long as some people, obviously, but I've always figured he just doesn't eat. In most, if not all, of what I've seen in the mythos its never been addressed or its just been handwaved with the idea that he feeds off fear. I personally think he doesn't have a need to eat, drink, sleep, or preform any biological function we have a built in need to do. He isn't anything like a human being or any animal-he's just there and he'll just fuck with people's existence either because he can or because that's what he's meant to do. He doesn't need to do anything we might think he does, we can't study him either IRL because he isn't real, or in mythos because no one can form a single, coherent and agreed upon idea about him besides his appearance and general abilities.

He just exists, there isn't a need to do anything that he's never had to before. Just personal opinion though.

I think that Slenderman never eats. I firmly believe his an extra-dimensional being. Maybe where his always present the laws of physics are quiet different. From what I read partly he only exists partly in our dimension. I don't believe his a spirit, demon or any of the kind. Why he captures humans and stalks them could possibly be beyond human understanding.
