A Different Approch Empty
PostSubject: A Different Approch   A Different Approch EmptyThu Jan 26, 2012 8:49 pm

Now let me start off saying that this idea is for a movie that doesn't revolvr around the Slender Man but he will play a big role. Taking in mind that is a belif that the Slender Man can travel through time, Slendy fits in perfectly. My movie: Nightmare Testing (title subject to change. Nightmare Testing's plot is... Complicated but basicly it involved a entity bringing dormant powers to life in certain people called conductors. The main character, Cain, struggles with choosing good or evil due to a enity brought to life in h named Rage. And as much as I'd love to go on about it, I really need an opinion of how I'm bringing in Slendy.

When Cain and the other main characters are investigating a forest because a rift in time opened up there. When getting close to the rift they split up. Cain finds Slender hanging in the trees by his tendrils. A fight scene happens (dont feel like going over it because its very detailed) After Cain is almost knocked out, you see the world through Slendy's eyes and Slendy is looking into a pool of water and you see a human face.

Now The Slender Man delivers Cain to Nightmare who gives the back story of what happened to Slendy. A soldier (unnamed at the moment) is walking home after returning from war to greet his family. Long story short, he is abducted by Nightmare. Nightmares dark gift not only creates the Slender Man we all know but makes him see every child as his and giving him the delusion he is still human.

So let me know what you think, seriously I don't mind anyone ripping my workas long as they have a reason. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

It sounds interesting, personally I would be careful about a fight scene making him look weaker, but thats from a slendy-central point of view. If he's a secondary character you might eb able to pull it off. I like the idea that he thinks he's still human, its certainly different.

Interesting ideas, I'm not sure how I feel about what this version of Slenderman is, or how it fits with the theme of Slenderman, but the ideas themselves are pretty neat.

This seems like the kind of thing you could make an entirely new entity for if you even wanted, even if it was a slender-based entity.

Ya, I was thinking about maybe just making a similar creature, but then people will just think I ripped of the Slender Man... Which I kinda am.

If you state that it's slenderman-based I don't think people would have a problem with it?

I can see what you mean though. *shrugs*
