So after 7 months of trying to figure things out, my friends and I have finally started our Slender Man vlog ARG. Our inspirations for the series from now and upcoming events are EverymanHYBRID, Marble Hornets, Tribe Twelve, DarkHarvest00, and MLAndersen0. We're going for a bit of a different storyline, as well.

Oh sweet! I keep telling myself to stop subbing these things because I've already too many to keep up with. Still...subbing! :p

Edit: Very nice! I like the acting and the pacing, and the videos look great! Can't wait to see what else happens!

Hello everyone. I don't know if you guys remember but my Slender Man series, BrokenBranches117, kind of stopped for a little while due to some complications with our actors. Well, after 4 long months, we're back on our feet!

This series is pretty interesting. I like how it's got a rather traditional setup, too. Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to more videos! Wink

The locations are awesome! They're my favorite part of most series.

Thank you! We love visiting those places even outside of filming. It's our favorite part, too.

I like what you've done so far, and I really loved the location in the Sugar Mill vid. The acting is okay. The problem, though, is that it needs a hook, something to keep the viewer coming back for more. So far, everything you've got, I've already seen in other series, i.e. mysterious packages were done by EMH & TT, and so on. You need something that the others don't have.

Dark Harvest has the Cult.
TribeTwelve has the Collective.
EMH added the Rake & had many ARG elements.
MarbleHornets is MarbleHornets.
MLAnderson0 did a lot differently. A unique, believable setup, the virus concept, a proxy who's not your standard masked creeper who speaks in binary, etc.

We sort of feel the same way with the "needing a hook" thing. In the way I planned and wrote the story,

Spoiler:: we'll have quite a bit of original hooks. They just haven't come along yet.
