Begotten - Ehh, just look this one up too. This one disturbed me a little too much to get through the whole thing.

Good one, but bad one too. Disturbing, yes, but way to drawn out. If you want to see god disembowel himself with a straight edge in a rundown cabin for 15 min then this is the movie for you. This is the kinda movie that makes very little sense unless you read about what various things are meant to represent. Even then there is no real pay off for sitting through such a long film. Trust me, I did. But hey, things could have been worse. I could have been watching "Midnight Mass" or "964 Pinocchio".

On to my suggestion. There is a Japanese film called "Naked Blood". This is a film about people who are treated in such a way that they can no longer feel pain. Great, huh? who would want to feel pain? Well things start getting twisted when the people start doing terrible things to their own bodies. Wow, look, I can stick my hands in a deep frier and it doesn't hurt! You know, I've always wanted to see what my eyeball's stem looks like! So yeah, some pretty disturbing stuff.

@Illyrias_Acolyte; Haha, i agree with you, but i figured they're fucked up enough to be included here. The only thing that got to me about the first one was the infection part. The second one was just insane.

I'm happy that I could be of service ^.^ Honestly while I was watching this I had to skip ahead during certain scenes where the painfully sickening aspect of the film crescendos. That is saying a lot considering that my film diet consists mostly of horror.

So many of these, especially the trailers, have made me laugh uncontrollably. I wonder if society+internet have numbed me so badly that scenes/movies like these don't effect me or make me cringe, or if I'm legitimately a fucked up person. Disturbing for me is BME Pain Olympics. It's been reported fake, but even knowing that, it still makes me a little uneasy watching. Yet I continue to watch. Hmm.

This movie was authored by Clive Barker. One of my favorite writers. I like the part where he cuts off those things that are growing on his body and stores them in jars. That made me feel sick. I was so mad when Lions Gate opted to only make this film a limited release. Seriously FUCK THEM!

It's not really a horror movie, but Pink Flamingos is incredibly disturbing for me (And that's coming from the chick who's in love with Nny and Slendy). John Waters is an extremely messed-up man.

I saw the trailer for Midnight Meat Train and I immediately started singing the title. Really, it sounds like something from a song. XD

Aiight, got some new entries:
Kill List had me geeking once things got going.
Red, White, and Blue switches tone REAL quick.
Lake Mungo's final scene gave me crazy chills, and the rest of the movie is great too.
Triangle was a huge mindscrew.
The Final had a premise a lot of angry kids should watch to ease their tension.
Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer was brilliant, disturbing roles.
Absentia has awesomely creepy blink-and-you'll-miss-it scares.
The Loved Ones was just violent and really great.

Ah, where do I begin!

The Wicker Man (The ORIGINAL)
Jesus Camp
Ju-On
V/H/S
Prometheus (seems unlikely, but some of the scenes were enough to make people in the theatre vomit)
Human Centipede: First Sequence & Human Centipede II: Full Sequence
A Tale of Two Sisters
Three Extremes
Event Horizon
August Underground trilogy (AU, Mordum, Penance)
Silence of the Lambs
Hellraiser
Hostel & Hostel 2
Swap.avi
Snuff 102

That's all I can think of for now.

EDIT: also! The Possession looks VERY promising.
EDIT II: I would be more than happy to supply quick summaries of each of these films if necessary.

Thank you for pointing me to this! There are very few horror films that I have not seen and from the trailer this looks amazing.

On a different note:

Swap.avi

I don't think that Swap.avi would be considered a valid recommendation for this subject. To put this in perspective Swap.avi is a 50 min. fecal fetish video along the lines of Two Girls and One Cup. I don't believe that Metis intended his project to be considered a film, just a fetish video "...to get off to..."

There were plenty of YouTube videos on here, so I thought maybe it would fit in. It was certainly disturbing, nonetheless.

Maybe it does fit in? I'm not sure what the over all consensus is. The main difference, for me, is the reasoning behind the separate videos creations. Swap.Avi was intended first as a fetish work while the other videos, as far as I know, were just made to entertain in a disturbing way.

Cropsey. Awesome documentary about a Long Island urban myth that turned out to be a bit true. Creeps me the F out every time I see it.

When you do, tell what you think! Smile No one else I know has ever heard of it nor watched it so it would be interesting to hear what another person thinks Razz
For what it's worth, I absolutely loved Martyrs. Great, overwhelming movie

Man I was going to recommend Begotten but somebody beat me to it. I guess I could recommend Passolini's Salo, Or The 120 Days Of Sodom, but I would advise that it requires a strong stomach both for pain and bodily substances

I think I found one that could count. It is called Two guys one hammer I believe and it involves two men taking someone into the woods and murdering them. I cannot provide a link because it was supposed to be taken down by the F.B.I and websites like google, youtube etc. Spoilers* Its real the two men were arrested for murder. You may be able to find it on torrent websites such as piratebay and other things.

It's still out there. You can probably search the archives of Best Gore and find it.

The murderers were in fact serial killers, known in the Ukraine as the Dnepropetrovsk maniacs.

That they were, Penn. They murdered something like 20 people, mainly people who would not be able to defend themselves.

A disturbing film I recently watched, Rubber's Lover, imagine Tetsuo the Iron Man crossed with Eraserhead... and that is kinda what you got... It's really weird. Like jet propelled blood...
