Did anyone here read Ichor Falls? It's a now dead website started by Kris Straub that just collected short stories based on a fictional town complete with a mock wikipedia entry and town history. I know there are tons of blogs and vlogs and what have you but would anyone be interested in having something equivalent to this for the slenderman, or the fears, or the rake? Maybe not united by a city but instead by a different theme?

I never heard of it before today, but sounds interesting - and it would totally work with slenderman, If you think about it.

Small village starts up a website promoting itself, telling the world about the day-to-day life and goings on, when some children are taken in the dead of night from one family.

T'would add a sense of realism, especially if many of the 'residents' were involved (maybe a 'resident' only forum board perhaps?).

I would totally be up fer that, if we could get a bunch of people for it.

Yeah, something like that. I guess the question is would you creators be interested in prose instead of various kinds of logs? I always want to contribute something but I'm better at prose. It also might be cool to see what happens with the constraints of a shared setting.

Alright I'm in Florida for about a week I'll try and get a solid fake city together. Any suggestions on optimal slenderman/rake attracting properties?

I think you could have the Rake tie in with some local legend and after he terrorizes the town some people start going out to hunt him and never coming back, That would give the town something to talk about and at the same time make Slendy even more of a danger as he would have some anonymity because everyone is trying to catch the Rake.

The first step would be more of a town history with as many hooks for people to build on as possible maybe thinks like thick woods or cliff paintings of spiders with long torsos and humanoid heads or certain years with a spike in child abductions.

If you want I can send you some pics of the wilds near my hometown, I live in Newfoundland so there is a lot of great wilderness areas near me.
If you want an example watch the video at the following link, I shot it at a place within driving distance of my house.
