| So I recently started my own blog on Blogger, but I want to get more views (yeah I am a view hog sue me). Based on the experience of other bloggers which one is better for getting the max amount of views? | |

| Honestly neither one is a bad choice, so long as you have a good story to tell and tell it WELL you should get a decent number of views
However I'd like to say that if you are doing this only for the views, you should probably reconsider, because you're not going to be passionate enough about your project unless you are doing it simply because you love it. Just a thought.
But yeah, whatever you choose, just try and advertise a bit and get into the community and you should be fine with whichever site you choose. Good luck :3

| There's also the fact that tumblr is evil.
Just putting that up there for your consideration.
...Enjoy! | |

| Tumblr is dumblr.
Blogger or Wordpress are probably the best platforms for Slenderblogs, though.

| I would suggest blogger as well, just because it seems that most blogs are on that platform, and if you are looking for views I recommend you comment (in character of course) on other peoples blog, this is how I found the majority of the blogs that I am currently reading. | |

| I'd pick Blogger, simply because Tumblr's archive system is horrendous, as I learned when I tried to read CYSTW from its beginning. | |

The problem with commenting in-character though, is that new profiles (like the OP's) automatically link to a Google+ account instead of a blogger account unless you change it. It makes the blog impossible to find through comments. This is part of why I hate Google, by the way.

| I find blogger more suited for story telling, though it's layout is a bit more difficult.
Tumblr would be an ideal place for a vlog coupled with pictures and updates. It is like a Twitter and a Youtube channel all rolled into one.
The only issue with Tumblr is that it's harder to follow along with.

| I know that Tumblr catches a lot of flack, but it isn't the worst possible platform. It all really depends on what medium you're using. My blog is very, very visually oriented, because I enjoy photography (along with photo-manipulation), and have a lot of pictures that are usable for this. Because of that, Tumblr feels like a good fit. Blogger and Wordpress are good for blogs that are primarily written, or for any story that is just a straight narrative told in an episodic style.
At the end of the day, use what works best for your blog. That's really what it all boils down to.
