| I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I would like your advice/ideas on how to build a decent-looking slenderman model (That may or may not be used in an upcoming series). I do have a really really large suit (Fits someone who's 8 foot tall), but I don't have any 8 foot tall models without faces who have a thing for not sitting down. So, yeah. I need to know;
How do I build a Slenderman?

| PVC pipe skeleton. Connect each "bone" with with strong, thick metal wire so that it can be posed. Have something heavy, like cinder blocks as the feet (Avoid getting the feet in shot, obviously) so it will be less top-heavy and likely to fall over. You will want something very human shaped for the torso to make sure the clothes hang right, there is a tutorial for making a dummy out of duct tape here here | |

| Thank you very much, Chewie. Thanks for the ideas, and thanks for the motivation for this. I can get plenty of PVC pipe, but I doubt I'll be able to get cinder blocks. Anything else? | |

| Wood, brackets, screws, and nails. 4x4's for the legs(they'll stand up-right on their own), 2x4 horizontal torso piece, 2x4 spine, 2x4 shoulders, and arms. Dress, and use the left over bit of spine as a place to mount the head. You can easily fill the wooden skeleton out with cotton, tape, etc. Get creative in making the head. I used a pizza box for a scene. | |

If you can't get cinder blocks find something else heavy, weight lifting weights, bags of flower, full water jugs. As long as it's heavier than the rest of the Slendy it should do the job.

| Mannequins. It might be hard, but I say I works really well. It might be the most unorginal idea in the book, but it works the best to me. It's not building, and it's impossible to move him, but it's not hard to build 'em. I'm not sure if shops sell their mannequins, but i'm pretty sure they will, for the right cash. Now that I think about it, it's a pretty stupid idea. :S | |

Mannequins are extremely expensive, and tend to be extremely limited when it comes to posing.

| I know it sounds insane but how about a paper mache Slenderman? It's been done before. | |
