Watch what you're saying, lest you end up with a game that has the bug testing of Bethesda, the plot of Activision, the graphics of EA, and the release date of Valve.
With that in mind, a god-tier gaming company would probably kill the concept of Slender Man, in the way of the recent Slender Man movie flood.
Oh god, the Slender Man movie flood.

i havn't seen the movies, ur right on the bugs. theres a VERY few companys that i would love see do the story for slender man. bethesda would be one, Starbreeze studio, or 2K. a great game has to have a great story line. games like the darkness for xbox 360 have storylines that are just...phenomenal. bioshock even had a very good and touching ending. a good game has a story line that keeps you saying just 20 more minutes. makes you laugh at the right parts and makes you cry when its at a sad part. even the last 2 fable games were pretty good. the dog is my favorite part. just because that lil guy is always happy to see you and if he dies you just feel bad, or when he's hurt you immediately try to heal him. i rarely play games for pvp personally, the reason is i get bored with it fast. the story is what i look forward to. story and kick ass graphics :p realistic gore, face expressions that look real, and horrors that make you think their staring right back at ya

Re: slender man video games
As I said before I don't think we are in a gaming era that could put out a game that has you just running away for 80 percent and not being hand held through most of it. With rare exceptions of course like Limbo and Descent most games right now are pretty much clones of one another. I think it will be a long time until we see a true horror game released for any current gen systems. Then again I could just be cynical.
But if they do release one I hope it will be an open world kind of thing but you have to either drive or save up money to fly. Just to reinforce that this is a normal world with way the hell out there creatures and people who are slaves to them. Imagine having to try and keep a nine to five in a game and also find time to explore to find the one weapon to kill the Rake or a way to stop Slendy from getting you when you sleep.

true, and that would make it much more interesting. it would be a hell of a long game. it would take give or take a few weeks to beat it in that case.
i could attempt to pitch the idea, my ex boss and i are still very good friends, and also if he dosn't have the number or email to contact them he knows the name atleast of who i need to email or call

If you do then go for it. But remind this person that this game has to a) not insult current fans of the series and b) allow people who know nothing about it to get in without massive head scratching. Also the time it takes to study all of the right stuff should be twice as long as any other project they have looked at before. Because there is a lot of backstory

Tulpa
I still like the Sim game idea better so here's my idea...
Have you guys heard the theory of Slender Man being a Tulpa. Maybe instead of a 'fear' meter a 'thought' meter may be more fitting.
Ideas: The game starts with the original thread opening.
An energy meter that increases faster when the thought meter is fuller.
To get a quick boost of thoughts you could get a proxy to create a thread/video at the cost of energy.
