"The Slender Man Movie"

What do you guys think of this?
(I didn't see it posted anywhere...)

I feel like it kinda sucks, the acting, directing, effects and overall plot is lame?
But apparently there's more to the plot than they outright explain, except I'm really bad at figuring that kind of stuff out.

I was like, who is the dude with the garbage bag? What's the deal with the kid at the end? Why does this look like a heavy metal video?

To be honest it did scare me a lot. But I'm a lot more scared by outright gore than creepiness...

So, what are your thoughts?

Not scary in the least, and boring as hell. And I agree with BlackWolf with the pentacle thing. It's a cheap way to associate whatever you want with evil. Not to mention that it is a symbol of occult magick and talismans for religions like my own, so they're inaccurate too. Do what MH did and make up your own damn symbol. Oh, wait, these people aren't that talented, my mistake!

I was under the impression this was a trailer of sorts, not a short film. I was gonna say I wouldn't mind seeing this just for the campiness value, but yeah.

Honestly my biggest qualm was WHY ISN'T THAT MAN TALL?
That is the shortest slender man I have ever seen.

I have gore problems, so it did really freak me out at first, not gonna lie, but I got over it quick after watching some SNL digital shorts. >.>

But yeah, it sucks. And I was entertained because of it. Very Happy

I am disappoint. This is just... just... just shit. Absolute shit. Hell, comparing this to shit is a compliment. It's lower than shit. There is absolutely nothing good about this video. I should find and then kill the man who created this lesser-than-shit production.

Just... just... that fucking pentagram. What the fuck? What the fuck does any of that shit in the movie even have to do with Slenderman? Kids disappear, and BOOM, suddenly pentagrams and tied up and eviscerated people.

Hell, I could have excused the fucking acting. I would have even found the ending acceptable. But then it just raped everything. It is an eye-rape. I dislike this, disapprove of this, and disenjoy this.

Motherfuckers.

The only Slenderish things in that were the disappearing kids and the organ that was in a bag.

But even then, the organ in a bag should've been sewn back inside the body of the person it was removed from, as the old mythos say.

I kind of liked it. It made me jump although I knew what was coming. Also: The logic-fails are actually pretty funny. It's clearly day outside when the people are in the house - the mother talks about *breakfast*! - when when the boy goes out, it's suddenly dark. Didn't anyone else have a chuckling fit because of that?

Also the garbage bag man made me think about a German meme and I had to lol hard because of that. And how the eggs turned into toast. I think this thing is kind of narmtastic.

@Broeckchen: Agreed. That's why I enjoyed it. I don't think it promised to be really professional (even though they were obviously trying, and failing) so I don't have any problem watching and loling for the sheer crapiness/campiness.
