My Youtube channel for Slender videos and more

Hey guys I'm very new to forums in general, this being the first place I have ever signed up to. That being said, it is nice to finally join up somewhere haha. I'm not 100 percent sure about how threads and posts usually operate, but I thought I would share with you my first Youtube video, where I get all 8 pages in Sanatorium. Hi there. Um seeing as you are new just wanted to give you a heads up. You can't really post links in the sight before you have put some time into it (I believe it was two weeks but check the rules to be sure). Also do you enjoy any other sort of Slender Man media? Like Tribe Twelve or Marble Hornets?

Yes I do enjoy a lot of the mythology behind Slender, and I enjoy reading into the different fan stories, ideas etc. etc. that they create, however I know there is much to learn. I'm sure you are since you are a member here on the forum (lol) but at what kind of level do you like Slender?

Well, here on this forum, we refer to the being you speak of as Slender Man. Slender is the title of the game by Parsec Productions that has Slender Man as an antagonist. Just a clarification.

Most of us here are major fans of the Slender Man mythos, but I think our opinions of Parsec's game are widespread. I personally am not interested in the game.

It doesn't really matter how you say it, but I agree with Zepher, you will make more friends around here by using the full name and not just the small title of Slender.

Personally the game is a little boring for me, but it is good to see a cool horror game get so many people excited. I don't really like a lot of the people who sometimes come into the fourm with the whole 'Slender invented Slender Man and nothing existed before that' kind of thing.

The game also created a bit of unrest among the creators (Myself being one), and Parsec fixed the problem, albeit a little too late.

I don't really understand why that picture is being used here but okay. Guess this fourm needed more jack black in it.

I didn't want to give the impression that I thought he was just called "Slender", I just used that because it was shorter, but if it makes a difference, I'll say "Slender Man" from now on .

I also do not like the fact that so many people think they know so much about the Slender Man just because they played the game and did a quick Google search. I was familiar with the Slender Man mythos before the game became really popular (not trying to give the impression that I believe myself above anyone because of this reason, just stating a fact lol). However, the creation of the game has undoubtedly led to more fans of the Slender Man mythos, which is always a great thing. Thanks for the posts and thanks for making an appearance Jack Black.

By the "and more", I meant other games are going to be featured as well. I'll be ordering the Elgato Game Capture HD very soon which will let me record very high quality videos, meaning the Slender game videos I make in the future will be of great quality. I'm thinking of doing videos that involve someone dressed as the Slender Man - suit and all - but I'm a bit uncertain of that at the moment in regards to what I would do with that idea. But yeah, Slender gameplays as well as other games. I should have the capture card within the next 7 days.
