Star Trek Online

Post by Cougar Draven on Mon Sep 17, 2012 4:22 am

All right, I'm not going to revive any threads on this, because so far as I can tell there aren't any. Has anyone here tried Star Trek Online? If so, how was it? I need a free-to-play game, and I'm staunchly anti-mindvirus, so TF2 is kind of a last-resort thing.

...if I wasn't a fan of Star Trek I wouldn't even be considering it.

I...

I can't.

I think what Cougar Draven is looking for here is feedback and/or reviews from people who do actually play/are interested in this game. I think a more concise, detailed comment would be appreciated next time :]

STO's an astonishing MMO. It encompasses vessel complications and methods of repairing those said misfits of deconstruction. Venturing various arrays of the systems interstellar subspace passages and investigating (plundering) anomalous findings are a fantastic addition to the game's category of looting. However, leveling's much more intense than any other MMO I've encountered. You sort of have to pay a lot of attention to your teammates more so than yourself, or your player's attributes, skills, and abilities. Prestige of your vessel is really awesome, allowing you to purchase a versatile stock of hull schematics and fusillade for increased paradigms of combat when your gaming with other STO dwellers. Level caps are an inestimable variable. I'd get on myself, but the college I'm currently attending has high grades of fidelity blockage and we (CT) have to enhance those grades with multiple, thick layers, of channels that keep outside interruption via proxy from extorting our wireless technologies.

All and all, you'll be certain to enjoy this game to its fullest! Especially being a fan of the franchise, as I've heard. Kudos, Mister Draven.

Love & Rockets,

Miss Universe
