With this series, I could believe it. Time travel is more likely. Which opens the way for Doctor Who/Marble Hornets crossover fic. Or maybe Torchwood/Marble Hornets. I'm not sure I want to know how Jack would handle the situation... "Long arms, eh? What else have you got?"*sly wink*

I personally don't see Alex helping anyone. I feel like he was warning them, but more in a personal gain sort of sense. I don't believe that it was the Operator high-jacking Alex, it just sounds like not something that the Operator would do. I see the Operator having some form of Darth Vader voice. Maybe Alex feels like he has a relationship with the Operator (like how Alex didn't leave when Operator was behind him in Entry 46), and whatever is in the "Ark" behind the tunnel has the potential to remove the Operator from his life, so he feels obligated to safe-guard that area now. If I remember correctly, we first saw Alex at the tunnel in Entry #49, so it was after we saw that he had that relationship with the Operator. At that point, maybe he was scared to see what was back there as well, and that's why he just sat in the tunnel instead of going to the other side.

I don't think the tunnel dude was Alex's first kill, though it may have been his first murder. Things have been happening around him since he was a kid, or at least that's the implication of the birthday video. The Operator may have been following Alex around for years, doing things to "help" Alex. Maybe making bullies disappear. Or cleaning up after Alex was through with the neighborhood pets.

| I still believe that the ARK is just Alex R[Middle name] Kralie.
Considering that we can establish that totheark is probably on Tim/Hoody's side, and they're AGAINST Alex - maybe they want Jay to lead them to Alex so they can end him.

| As much as people would like to think that, they've stated elsewhere that the ARK is not his initials. Though I do think that Tim WAS running the ToTheArk channel during the first season, but with the videos changing to a new style, I believe that Hoody is currently running the ToTheArk channel and took up where Tim might have left off, hence why he took the pills from Tim so he could revert back to his Masky state in the one video. | |

Hasn't that been jossed? It was - until I was listening to a radio interview with them where they said that their default reaction to any and all speculation was to say it was wrong to keep people from gaining any clues as to what they were doing.

No, he's not.
Remember the entry where Tim ambushes him in the woods and drags him off - only for Hoodie to appear moments later and grab the camera?
Unless Jay is a Chinese quick-change artist, I doubt it's him. Which one is that? And isn't there distortion? This could conceivably account for a brief passage of time. Plus, it's not been established why Tim always seems to have a mask handy for when he goes loco - both could be connected to The Operator's time and space distorting abilities.

| - Spoiler:
I like how this thread went from a discussion of entry #64 to a discussion of Masky, Slenderman, Alex, Jay, and Hoodie. My current premise is that Alex and Slenderman are sort of related to each other to an extent. During the filming of the actual Marble Hornets movie, he saw Slenderman and was terrified. Time passed, Alex was always plagued by Slenderman no matter what he did. Jay didn't know that. Jay brought it back up, threw Kralie into it again so that Slenderman was actively chasing after him (figuratively, of course) instead of just acting as the out-of-bound referee like he had been from the time MH was cancelled to the time Jay picked it back up. Instead of being terrified, Alex was angry. Instead of fleeing, he fought. Slenderman noticed that Alex wasn't backing out and was probably actively meeting Slenderman's challenges. Perhaps, even, trying to attack or hunt Slenderman. Keep in mind the fact that Kralie hinted at Slenderman's origins as a child molester who was hung by his feet from a tree in Rosswood. This leads me to believe that Kralie was going research, gathering information, and figuratively attacking Slenderman by not showing fear.
Corruption? Yes. Fear? No.
Slenderman realized this was happening and kept a close eye on Alex while he went after Jay. Masky comes into play here-- Either Slenderman himself of Masky tails Jay while the other tails Alex. Unfortunately, Jay and Alex met up in that abandoned house. Masky followed Jay closer than Slender followed Alex, so when he went to attack Jay - For reasons I'm sure are probably for the best. I mean, who DOESN'T want to throttle Jay at this point?- Alex rushed him and broke his leg. Slenderman was then at an impasse. Alex was clearly going after his proxy out of MORE than self defense, and succeeded in breaking his leg. Slenderman then had to adopt a new proxy while Tim was out of commission, so he took car of getting Tim to a doctor ("Do you have any idea what it feels like to wake up in the back of your car 200 miles from your house with a broken leg and blood in your hair!?") And then adopted Hoodie.
Slenderman needed a way to get back at Alex for breaking his proxy. He focused, though, on Jay. While he toyed with Jay, he thought of ways to screw with Alex. Which brought him to thinking of taking out those Alex cares about. He figured that Tim, Jay, and Alex were all good buddies in College, so why not now? So he made it a point to 'inform' Kralie whenever Jay got attacked. Probably in subtle ways, though.
Alex, due to Slendersickness, sufferes from acute paranoia. He believes everyone is out to get him. He killed the man in the tunnel because he believed him to be a proxy. If I remember correctly he shouted something like " I told you not to come here" or "I told you to stop following me" or something like that. This incorrectly correlates to one of his many shouts at the proxies or at Slenderman. If I remember correctly, he leaves the tunnel the same way he came in. He probably came back to the tunnel at some point and went through. Encountered Slenderman. Attacked Slenderman, with a brick or a rock, or even maybe his gun. (If he had it at that point.)
Slenderman called shens. Alex holled himself up on the other side of the Tunnel, the same place he 'fought' Slenderman. Slenderman went after Jay some more and repossessed Tim now that his leg was all better. Slenderman decided to take another route at ruining Alex' life, so he started helping Tim and Jay- In example, sending Tim to bead the fuck out of Alex when he pulled the gun on Jay and Jessica. He also is pulling an elaborate ruse, making the Proxies seem 'afraid' of him. To screw with Alex, of course. (See: That time when they ran away when Slenderman came).
TL;DR: - Spoiler:
TL;DR Tim is still a proxy, Slenderman's main goal is to fuck with Alex, Jay is the middleman (with the stupid, tiny knife.), Alex doesn't afraid of anything, Jessica's probably dead, Hoodie is Slenderman's backup proxy, it's all just an elaborate ruse.

| thoughts on the episode:
Nice chestcam tim. Thought of one of those front facing baby carriers for a second.
That tunnel contains either alex or slendy, and either way you're gonna have a bad time.
Jay helping someone for a change? trying to drag tim!
Oh, nevermind. Looks like tim got, how we say "Jay'd"
What a brave soul.
Oh, nvm. Tim is suddenly an invisible usain bolt. makes it back to his car before Jay somehow.
Everything went better than expected, jay's still a dick and tim's still pissed at him.

Tim being weird is, probably, because he's getting Masky'd again. I don't think that's the case, after everything I think Tim would have known that Jay couldn't help him and was trying to get Jay to save himself. I could see Tim being a hero.

| I'm sure you guys have seen this already, but Jay posted this on Wednesday: @marblehornets "Still no word from Tim. I'm trying to work up the courage to go back to Rosswood to find him, but could he even still be there?" - Spoiler:
It's a damn shame he doesn't know anybody else to tag along with him.

Jay should ask the community to go. Imagine Jay walking to slenderman with an entire army of people recording behind him, then Jay yells charge and all of us run at slenderman looking for him to sign our computers and asking him questions " Jay see's slenderman and video distorts"
"ITS HIM! ITS SLENDERMAN"
*millions of redditors, slendernation members, and something awfull users rush at him yelling "WHAT IS LOVE!?" and "TENTACLES OR GTFO"*

| I'm surprised it took as long as it did to point out that Tim actually told Jay to run, and did so while Jay was trying to pull him away from Big Op. Tim is not the antagonist, and I'm still firmly convinced that whatever Jay saw in Tim's car at the end was not Tim. Not mentally. | |
