The New Site and its Features

Hello everyone old and new! I am The Doctor, and THIS is the new Slender Nation Forums!
As you can see, we've spruced it up quite a lot, and I'm here to tell you a little about what's new and what to expect:

As you noticed when typing in the URL, we now have our own domain name! Thanks to Satyrcynic, we've been given our own .com and are free of being held down by the forced domain names that come with free service. Now, you may be wondering why I say that when it's clear in the URL box that we still have the .forummotion tag. Well, It's a lot better to have the domain name redirect to here than it is to go through forummotion's tedious and expensive point buy system.

Now that we got THAT big plus to our forum out of the way, here are some other useful new toys you get to play with:

1.) A fully integrated chatroom that will appear at the bottom of the page itself. No more using an outside source for our chats, we have one right at home!

2.) Facebook Connect: Connect your Facebook account with Slender Nation!

3.) Personal Albums and Photo Sharing: pretty self explanatory, so let's move on.

4.) Advanced Points and Reputation System: Instead of Karma that can go up or down, we have "Win Points" That you may grant your fellow users or staff members. It only goes up, so no one can attack anyone on a whim.

5.) Built In RP features: For those of us enjoying the Roleplays Satyr comes up with (along with one of my own that will happen soon), we have a fully integrated RP system that includes Dice rolling and Character sheets which will help GREATLY when it comes to character creation.

6.) Event Calendar: SImple, yet effective, the Event Calendar will help you keep track of important events in the Slender Man and Slender Nation universes.

We've only scratched the surface of the new features available to us. Both my staff and I will be constantly working on new ways to make your experience here as enjoyable and terrifying as we can. Big hand to Satyrcynic for his assistance in both the domain name and the skin itself. Most everything you see here is his hard work, having created the skin from scratch. For his great dedication to the site, he has been brought to admin status.
