PostSubject: COFFFHHEEE And Tea.   Tue Jan 29, 2013 11:46 am

I've got a list of teas and coffee brands that are my absolute favourite, but I am really eager to try some more kinds right now but am not entirely sure where I'd look.

I like:
Tazo's Lemongrass and Spearmint tea
Passionfruit tea (Brand is Tazo)
Chamomile
Cat's Claw
Dandelion Tea

and as for coffees, I like smooth coffee that's not too dark or rich, though the only exception to this is strong italian beans and such. I prefer the beans so I can hand ground them - but I also get them ground.

I recently have just bought this Hazelnut coffee (ground) that's by "Aribica" (spelling????)
And their coffee is extra smooth it seems.

I'm a medium (heaviness) drinker, and fill the coffee filter only about halfway with the coffee grounds.

On a stressful say, the coffee filter has a fourth of the filter left visible, and I typically run water through it at least 3 times until it's dulled down equaling about 24 cups of coffee from it, as I get 6 cups from one pot of coffee.

But yeah, I drink excessive tea and coffee (which is weird because I do a ton of meditation as well, so I like to be calm yet get an intense caffeine high, I may be a coffee addikt because I get withdrawl after a week of no coffee and need to balance it with lots of tea)

But, I need to have the coffee smooth and not extremely dark. Anyone have advice and or reccomendations on some different coffees and teas I can try after reading this information?

Note: I wrote this on a random spark of a buzz, so if things seem hectic and I forgot this, I apologize in advance.

Tea. I love tea! All kinds of tea. ^w^ Especially jasmine tea.

I also love coffee, but it can't be black. I need some cream at least, and maybe a little sugar. Not too much, not too little.

My girl and I ordered Doctor Who teas. I cannot remember from where, but these are teas that people make themselves and ship out, from what I understand. I have 11's (NO SHOCK) and she has River's (ONCE AGAIN). I must say, they are without a doubt the best tea I've ever tasted!

I love Earl Grey, Lady Grey, and Peppermint Tea.

I once found a flavor called "Morning Thunder." It delicious. Meaty.

Some of you already know my love for loose leaf teas. My source is this little shop in NC called Tin Roof Teas and they have the best quality I've had the pleasure of tasting.

I usually drink my tea straight with no cream/milk or sugar.

It depends on the tea for me.

Not all teas are "cream and sugar" teas or "milk and sugar" as some people prefer.

Only with certain black teas do i ever use cream and sugar - and with heavily herbal teas, i usually avoid creme and sugar and instead add a little honey (not much because I like the taste of the herbs) and drink it as such.

So for me - whether I serve honey or creme with my tea - well, that would depend on the tea.

I've not tried many white teas before, so I've been thinking on swaying that way for a while.

White and Green teas need to avoid the creme and sugar like the plague. I've never had a creamed herbal, but honey is indeed a must. I like soymilk and honey with heavy black teas such as English 5 o' clock or Scottish Breakfast. There are some black teas like Flowers of Hawaii that have a nice fruit and floral taste.

I like dark, strong coffee. This may be gross, but I even eat coffee beans sometimes. I just really, really like coffee. I have this coffee called Peanut Butter Cup coffee. Oh sweet babies, its magnificent. Can't really taste the peanut butter, but its still pretty damn good.
Sometimes Tiro will make me an iced mocha if I'm lucky. I really love me a good mocha, and he makes them just right.
Mm. Coffee.

Chocolate covered coffee beans are the exception to my life of coffee! I am not a huge "Strong dark" fan of coffee, and like the subtle taste of coffee bea-

HOLY SHIT IS THAT A CHOCOLATE COVERED COFFEE BEAN?! GIMME THAT!

Pretty much sums up my opinion on that. XD

I hate coffee with a passion. I only drink standard tea, with milk and sugar. I have no culture.

That's all the culture you need to explain your preferences.

Oh my god. PG Tips (Other tea bags are available) are utterly amazing. You get the best tea over here, with it being a national symbol and all. I think the water hardness helps too, our water is a lot softer than it is over in America. Anyway, tea is great.

I've never liked coffee, though I haven't given it much of a try. When I need caffeine I just take a couple hours off my life with a good old energy drink. I recently (re-?) heard about cold brewing coffee, and I might give it a shot.

I do love tea though, but I'm pretty simple. A nice Earl Grey with a bit of sugar. I love Gevalia's grey, but I don't tend to order online much. Unfortunately I haven't found anything in the supermarket that really tickles my fancy.
