New idea "Mercy Killers"

So I was recently thinking about the various kinds of threats other then Slender Man in the mythos. You have Proxies and stuff and of course just the hazards of being on the run but what if there were a group of Runners who actively tracked down others and killed them out of a misguided sense of Mercy. They figure anyone Slendy is stalking might as well already be dead, so they try and end it briefly and painlessly. Imagine being on the run from Proxies and from a group of people who are just trying to do their best to 'help you'. What do you guys think?

I'm not trying to spoil... but my series is heading into that direction...

To clarify.

We hunt down people who are far along as proxies.

That raises questions as to how much of the original person was still there.
In essence there is a danger that we could veer into this territory.
Who knows... perhaps some such group could rise up. Splinter off. Thinking the ends justify the means.
Trying to contain the virus.

Sounds interesting. I suppose this group would kill proxies too, through their main targets would be people less effected, the ones who seemed sane and would spread the myth faster.

Love the idea, sounds awesome. I'd love to use it, but it wouldn't work with my current blog, nor the blog I'm planning on doing. It's an original idea and works better than proxies if you want to advance the story.
