| Hello everyone. I started a series last year. My biggest problem I've had so far is when it comes to YouTube tags. I've tried many tags including Slenderman ARG, Slender ARG Series, Slenderman YouTube Series, Paranormal, Horror, Found Footage, etc. I didn't make this series for money or fame. I wanted to create a new and unique show with an interesting story and good special effects, yet my series hasn't been getting the views I'd hoped for. I also tried going on Unfiction to post about other series and mine, but I couldn't figure out how to make an account. It was very confusing. I guess I'd like any advice on sharing my series and help with video tags. Thanks. | |

| Sharing on here and posting a link in your signature seem to help a lot of people get the attention they're looking for. I wouldn't put anything in the tags hinting that its fake (that's just my preferences, though), because, most likely, some trolls would use that to ruin the immersion for the rest of your viewers. The best thing you can do is put yourself in the place of your character. Why is he making these video logs? If its for therapy, include tags like "Vlog" "Therapy" etc, while also hiding a small "Paranormal" or "Scared" in there. Later, after he starts realizing some creepy stuff is going on, include tags like "Help", or, if he sees the order or someone wearing a mask "Masked Man". Later, if the character experiences the ACTUAL Slenderman, include things like "Tall Man". It may not help you get discovered more quickly, but when you do get discovered, it helps assure that people keep watching and keep recommending your videos. Also, if you'd be willing to give me the link, I could check it out and maybe add it to the watch-list on my new blog. Good Luck! | |

Good Luck! Thank you so much for the advice! This will help a lot in getting my series noticed. As for the series its self, I think it's ok. There's definitely some episodes that could have been a lot better. A couple of the episodes are me just monologuing to the camera for eight or ten minutes. I guess it was supposed to give it a vlog feel, but I don't know. I think every series gets better over time, including MarbleHornets and TribeTwelve. They got better after the first few episodes. Mine will get better in time, I hope. | |

| You're welcome! I'll check out your channel soon, though, right now, I'm in the middle of a TJAProjects Marathon xD. Good point. All good series started out with very little followers. And they always get better after the actors and crew gain a bit more experience. | |
