I gave my impressions on this in my Google+ Slenderverse community. I think it has potential for a decent story. This is my overall impression about it:
Overall reflections on it: -Nice ambiance and very beautiful scenery (+ immersion) -Large Environment (depends on ones preference, I like it) -Bobbing Head is too stiff -Sounds (decent) -Creepy girl model (+ scares) -Slenderman model is kinda cartoony (a negative for scares)

My impressions... Ok ambience. Scares are still very cheap and unoriginal Lighting makes me want to vomit Charlie's model is used millions of times and loses scariness View bobbing is awful... Same Slender man model as the one in the original game. Overall... NOT impressed. And I swear to fuck if the new missions in the patch are fucking item collectors then I'm not wasting any money on it.

I, for one, am excited. Especially since they're doling it out for free to steam-folk. Diggin' the VHS thing, though they kind of did it before, and ready to get back into the world of the Arrival yet again.

Loved the Cellar moments. Reminded me of the first game's generator level which is my favorite part. I hope they have more of those close quarters scares because open level seemed to safe really.
