So.. I'm back xD

 So, Slender Nation, it's been a long while xD
i joined this little community quite a while ago, but neglected my duties as a forum member up until this point, so my sincere apology to the admins for leaving a relatively dead account on this site xD.
Anyways, I suppose you might wanna get to know me, since I do plan on being more active on this site, so...
I'm a high school student living in Massachusetts, I'm an aspiring artist and writer who struggles between being productive and energetic and maintaining a relaxing life outside of all the stress school and looking for a job bring me xD I'm a big time metal head as well as a Punk Rock and Grunge enthusiast, I enjoy bands such as Slipknot, Green Day, offspring, Tool, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Korn, Attila, Otep, Pantera, and Avenged Sevenfold (to name a few xD). I'm someone who will watch just about any sort of movie you can imagine, from horror, comedy, sci-fi, fantasy.. sci-fi fantasy, you name it. I enjoy tv shows such as Supernatural and Doctor Who, and I hope to be able to contribute to this community and both the Slenderverse and Fearverse with some good stories and/or poetry, so look forward to that if I can get off my lazy ass. I discovered the slender man community through Marble Hornets (cliche, I know), and from then on I was hooked. I even went so far as to write a story about him which, needless to say, sent shivers down the spines of my fellow 5th grade classmates (this was back in 2010, so).

I agree with you PointlessTester. This mythos definitely needs a big revival, and I hope that in some way I can be a part of that revival  I look forward to hearing your ideas on this matter. I don't really believe, however, we need to rethink what the Slender Man is, because, at least for me personally, part of the joy of the mythos is NOT knowing what he is. We need a story that can bring together originality, along with sheer terror (psychological and otherwise), and good, solid plot and character development. With that, I definitely think this glorious universe and community could experience a great revival.

Recently, I've seen a few very good Slender Man videos filmed in the conventional way, not found footage. Maybe that could be the next big thing?

Who's been producing these videos, Davros? Sounds interesting, I may have to check it out.
