I like it, but a couple things. The ratings on each side contradict each other, and from some of the text, mainly "HIS NIGHTMARE IS YOU" makes it seem like you would kill Slender Man at the end. If it was a game, which could possibly have potential, it would need to be unbeatable. ie. Whatever you do, you die. But what the fuck do I know, I don't have any systems.

I would definitely buy that too. In reality, I think the game should be able to have alternate endings, one where you actually live, and one where you die. That would make the game more interesting and funner to see the conclusion of things.

Thats the thing though, if you encounter the Slender Man you should not live, yea you can run. You can keep running but he will get you. Your his toy, his little beanie baby he can throw around and look at until one day, *RIIIIIP*, your spilling out beans and the next thing you know those beans are your organs and your skinsack is hung from a tree while your organs are bagged and left at the base of the tree.
I guess it could end with you escaping but showing Slender Man near your character who is unable to see him, but I would prefer full on death.

Yes, that is entirely true, but I'm just saying. If there is a game like that, it would be more interesting to see it in two point of views, and not just one where you die, die, and die all the time you want to re-play the game.

Props for using "A Theme for Murder." My all-time favorite font, hands down. <3 Of course, I'm also in love with the front cover.
I think for something like this to work, it would have to be less action-y (I can't see any game involving slendy having loads of fight sequences. Maybe a run-in with a hollowed/proxy/masky/whatever, where you have to fight off a crazy person, but not real fights) and more psychological. I mean, the few games I play are heavily story-based anyway, but for this to work, it would also have to be heavy with "Ohgod, he's following me he's in the treesthetreesDON'TGOTOTHETREES"
But yeah. Could totally see myself enjoying this if it was done right.

yeah thats the kinda thing i was going for, i was kinda going for alternate endings, (like heavy rain), but not with loads of fight sequences, i meant that you like have to use a special camera to take pictures of him when you spot him, it causes him damage and then throughout the game you encounter other events, clues, and other supernatural monsters (like the pic i had with the rake [from everymanhybrid])
"When a protagonist's family mysteriously vanishes into thin air, a young character finds themselves involved with more then human"
and i meant alternate endings as in you can kill slender man at the end, and live, or you can take a path that kinda leads you into horror, . yes, thats why i used a fucking magical camera, because im certainly not gonna fucking put a gun there am i? no. xD i'm thinking of doing a re edit with more screenshots and edited back cover,. thanks for your opinions

I agree with with Jeebles. If you can beat SlenderMan, it goes against the mythos. There are plenty of games that rely on the main protagonist dying, and they're very rare, and very good. I rather enjoy some of them.It would be really awesome to see how you could run from Slendy, and employ various methods (Cameras, violence, ignorance, etc.) to evade him. It would be like one big Choose-your-own-death. :3

OMG. love your idea. yeah. thats a bit like the system in the golden compass videogame, a character evades, ignores and all that with enemies. slight combat at times,.
lol this just popped into my head:
"QUICKLY, SHAKE THE WII REMOTE IN ORDER TO CROUCH INSIDE THE BARREL!" XD
and combat with masky lmao

but also, i like the idea that if this game was real, you WOULD have a chance to succeed and beat slender man in the end,. [hence the magical camera] (lol because jay's piece of shit doesn't match mine ! DX) i added a similarity there aswell. cameras and stuff. like what you say, evading and all that would take place in the game, but combat from time to time [fighting off other beings, monsters and people). and it would have a sort of 'Survival Horror' genre. mwahaha it would be soooooo creepy! >_< i wish it were real. I DO BELIEVE IN SLENDER MAN GAMES, I DO I DO! XD. i hope someone with real game smarts makes this.
- Switching From 3rd Person To 1st Person
- having a combat system using a mystic camera against beings and people
- REALLY BIG plot and storyline twists.
- Creepy slender man sightings EVERYWHERE [whats a slender man video game without him? lol]
- Masky!
- Designing your own character [like how sims works]
- horror factors [blood, the bags of dead animals, suspense actions]
- very disturbing cutscenes
- disturbing locations [old houses, forests, factories, warehouses, hospitals etc..]
- Evade and dodge system - hiding, using your surroundings, Stealth modes,
- Some physical weapons - crowbars, pipes, knife, [not guns that much though]
- interactive cutscenes
- Item inventory - collecting things like pain pills, health bars, keys, letters,DRAWINGS,little items.
- Realistic graphics.
- Mild screamers [lol]
- and a climb system aswell - climbing walls, trees, ladders, stacking objects, fences, ledges,..

I also think being able to beat Slenderman would be a bit cack.
Playing AS Slendy would be fun though. Fun and fucking weird.
Nice cover though, I like it.
I'm a bit freaked out though because for my own amusement, I was thinking of making a Marble Hornets game cover XD only, for the DS.

A happy (or at least bittersweet) ending can be achieved without beating Slendy. Part of the game's story is to save your family, which could work with the alternate endings. There could be a bad ending where you and your family die, a neutral ending where you lose your family but survive Slendy (becoming like M), or a good ending where you sacrifice yourself, but save your family.
And I would buy the shit out of this game.

Hells yes! It would be awesome if you could do this in the style of Amnesia: The Dark Descent. No weapons. Simply, in the immortal words of Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw": "Your only recourse is to flee like a man in an expensive suit from a tepanyaki restaurant, putting as many walls, doors, and preferably continents between you and the wobbling mutants as possible." I also like how (in Amnesia) you often just see a shadow of a figure in the distance (if your smart enough to hide). If you'll forgive the use of another quote: "... a monster is scarier the less you see of it, so if you do stick around to get a good look at the ugly cenobyte rejects, then your face gets torn off an re purposed as a tea cozy before you can say 'Cthulu Ftahgn'." Because that's the scary thing about Slendy-- you don't realy see him that clearly or that often, and you (or at least, I) usually need to take a second look to find him there.
A few more ideas (sorry, horror game addict going nuts here):
1) If you're exploring and Slendy's around, the game itself (the screen you're watching to play) gets cuts and distortions, and the sound goes weird. Also, some jumpy/flickery imagery similar to what happens in the iPhone game "Hysteria Project".
2) Sort of related to the above, but it would be cool to have some sanity effects that start to "affect" your game, similar to those found in Eternal Darkness.
3) In one of the endings (bad? neutral?), you become a proxy.
I apologize if this is a little all over the place or obnoxious, but video games + horror + Slendy = massive fangasm.
