A proposition

Ladies and gentlemen of the forum! I have a proposition to make, and I want everyone to hear it. But of course I am not about to just tell you what this proposition is...oh no, you'll have to guess from a list of possibilities. Here they are.

1) I propose that we increase the breadth and reach of our website at http://www.slendernation.com to make it the premiere location for all things Slender Man, and to effectively own the mythos through and through. How do we accomplish this, you ask? Fundamentally, we add pages. I am proposing an idea to expand this website to include more than just a forum, and I want to hear suggestions, comments, and most importantly staff opinions on the subject.

I am creating test pages for such purposes as welcoming people to our site, providing them with live updating twitter and blog feeds, embedded youtube videos of the latest activity in the major series, the long anticipated idea of a slender nation merch shop, possibly a wiki or dictionary of terms, and anything else we can think to add.

Imagine what you see right now being slendernation.com/forum, and that potential visitors could also see slendernation.com/updates, slendernation.com/media, etc etc etc. The idea of creating a hub for all things Slender has been in my head for a while, and I see no reason we could not create such a thing right here, and in the process, boost our own popularity a thousand percent.

What I need from all of you is feedback on these thoughts, approval or otherwise, volunteers to maintain certain elements of the site, and just to generally prompt a discussion. And so, my friends, I am proposing we discuss expanding this website dramatically.

2) Vivi, will you marry me?

1) Sounds cool with me. I like everything about the concept and would be more than willing to pitch in if there was a list of things that could be done that I look to see what I could contribute to. I'd be more than happy to write up things in general or the wiki for example, but I have zero knowledge of formatting or how those really work, so at best I could just type up junk and give it to one of you guys unless somebody taught me.

2) Also sounds totally cool with me.

1) That would be absolutely amazing. If you remember, I tried starting a Slenderman wiki on the old forum, but it didn't work so well. Feel free to copy some of the articles if you want.

2) I am not Vivi.

1) I love it. A dictionary of terms would be wonderful-newer people to the mythos have no idea what some of the things we are talking about are, I remember it took me a while to figure it all out myself. A merch shop would be lovely also, I would totally want a Slendy hat... Live updates on twitter/facebook/youtube embeded to the site? FUCK YES

2) I thought we had something Cynic, you cheating bastard.

I love this idea, I adore this idea, and... I love this idea. This would be fantastic.

Also, if you two DON'T get married, I'll probably shoot someone. Probably Nedark. Who knows?

1) Yes. Yes, this would be great. I could even make some limited edition stuff for the merch shop. A "welcome" page for Advertising (wink wink) would be much appreciated as well. A basic introduction, of sorts. "This is exactly what is going to be fucking with you."

I was wondering if this would ever happen. I've thought about it for quite awhile. So it's all good here.

This is one of those moments when I wonder if I'm absolutely sure we're nicer than unfiction

We are, its just good fun. Besides, what would we do if we didn't go at each other's throats from time to time to keep it fun and interesting? We'd be completely fucking insane and dead if we didn't shake it up a but every now and then-which is why I love this proposition of yours.
