I'll just... leave this here. It's a wrap up of my other blogs-- all of them-- but you won't have to have read any of the other blogs to understand it. Fingers crossed, anyway. If you liked Happy Thoughts, or Once, or even Vivere, there'll be some themes from those blogs cropping up in this one. And some characters and plot threads too.

I will shameless self-plug my new blog: Don't Let Them Tell Us Stories. In which I mix together existentialism and Norse Mythology.

I suppose I should mention it here and not just over on The Fear Mythos since it is just focused on Slender Man. Does anyone remember when in a topic people were talking about more variety/breaking the mold.

Also: Including the possibility of more sightings of kids being targeted by Slender Man.

I decided to give it a whirl and i've already had it completed for a while now: Friendship Is Magic (posts start at the bottom for those unfamiliar with blogger's more fancier designs)

I wouldn't call it an actual blog, more of a...blogpasta. Its main inspiration was to be done in a style like the old "short stories" that were included in the original thread from Something Awful where it all begin... but just extended into a short (20 posts) blog. Its written as if done by a very immature ten year old girl (and MLP fan as if the title wasn't enough of a hint) and I basically was trying to do the very old idea of "kids don't see anything wrong with Him." Basically another main inspiration for the blog was Hosozukuri's "slendy's watching me" song.

So keeping that in mind, hopefully you enjoy the premise of the completed blog and I'm more than happy to hear anything to be said about it. constructive criticism, compliments, whatever. fire away.

I wanted to wait until the story of my blog had taken off before I posted this, so here we are. Its about an unnamed person who seems to know more about Slendy and events surrounding HIM than he should. That's all I want to reveal for now.

A girl named Marissa tries to find clues after her very close friend Alexandria, or Alex for short, goes missing under mysterious circumstances. No body, no evidence, nothing. Marissa gets permission from Alex’s parents to go in her room before they move out.Marissa finds somthing-Alex’s dairy. It starts off normal, but things get disturbing after a couple days worth of entries. After reading, Marissa’s personal life is beginning to get weird and freaky. The more she reads the diary, the weirder things get.

The premise is fairly standard: girl starts having dreams, girl starts seeing Slender Man, girl goes a bit crazy. Eventually, she discovers a way to physically protect herself from as well as strike out Him, a process that may or may not involve some killing.

Later on, there is some in-blog interference from a group of mysterious characters/forces, all of whom are written by a dedicated stranger - a person that I've never even met. It's a bit strange.

Nothing quite interesting going on in mine yet but if you want to save yourself a long back story, come over and read it whee (see what i did there?)

My friend and I have been working on a slender series blog. It is a part of my normal blog, and I try to make the styles consistent. I have a special section though entitled "Slender" just so its understandable. Aside from that small snag, I like how its been coming along. It isn't very far along, but we have some pretty cool plans in the works.

It's a little hard to sum up STLB, but here's my best shot:

Konaa is a weedy, cynical, mildly sociopathic teenager who has found himself in a bit of awkward situation: he's being hunted by the Slenderman. Attempts to ward off his fear with sarcasm proving ineffectual, he realizes that the only way to face this horror is to confront it head on.

What follows is a chain of events that take him across the country, as he meets other bloggers, proxies, and even different monsters. Along the way, he confronts deep seated issues within himself, and struggles with the notions of pragmatism vs heroism.

Give it a read, if you like. You may want to make a cup of coffee, though, it's pretty long. And not finished, either.
