"Right, I see.." she said, trailing her fingertips over the tentacle's surface and studying the slight residue left on them.

Louis gave a small sigh, his back feeling twinging occasionally even though he remained as still as possible. He couldn't see how he was going to manage sleep.

Hannah? he thought, his mental trails reaching out.

(At least it's not tentacles. *troll face*)

Yes that you do i am right here after all." Slender man says as he appears in a burst of shadows the tentacle connecting directly to one of his slender fingers.

Although she saw Slender Man reveal his true form, Hannah shut her eyes at hearing Louis 'talk', focussing on him instead. She trusted Slender Man to not hurt her. "Yes?" she asked.

Louis shifted automatically to respond to Hannah, sending pain jolting down his back. He hissed, muttering in briefly in rough German.

I'd like to revisit your previous question, he whispered, streaming her images of past events, his mind almost audibly creaking with the strain.

(I'm too much of gentleman to insult a lady, but I have a few lined up...)

"Which question was that?" She frowned slightly, trying to remember what she'd asked. With a jolt, she realised that she felt significantly calmer than she did before John and Louis had left, rational even. She guessed that it may have been a mixture of Slender Man's presence and Louis' quiet thoughts that did it.

How I'm holding up, he murmured, mind slipping ever more towards the delicious idea of sleep. My back has completely gone.

Hannah suddenly felt a few degrees colder. "..Gone? As in, you can't feel your legs, or..?"

Louis' eyes widened, he hadn't even considered that. Gritting his teeth, he wiggled his left foot; pain shot up his spine, causing him to gasp aloud as his eyes watered. No, my legs are still here, sadly, he thought. I just can't move without serious pain.

Guilt filled her and she hung her head, squeezing her eyes tighter closed. "It's all my fault. I must have done something wrong. I'm sorry Louis, so sorry."

Louis' heart dropped like a stone. No, Hannah, I just wasn't as careful as I should have been. It's in no way your fault, you did a marvellous job.

Hannah sniffed quietly, wiping her eyes with the back of her hand. She left all of the blame on herself, but she didn't feel like arguing her case with Louis. "Have you tried contacting Luminen, asking him for some pain relief?"

"I can relieve the pain but it comes with a cost. you must give me twenty Dollars, And you must agree to never wife in any of the clubs or i will come for you."

Hannah's concentration was broken by Slender Man's remark; she was well aware of the 20 dollars meme. She erupted into a fit of giggles, thankful for the distraction from her guilt.

"Can you really fix him?"

"Yes i can but like i said it does require payment i'll just take my payment outta you my child." Slenderman says as he appears beside Louis Using three tentacles Slenderman lifts him up and uses a fourth to slide into his back Using all of his concentration Slenderman Knits the muscle and skin back into place soothing the pain. Setting Louis back down Slenderman removes his tentacles from the male and appears back in Hannah's room. "The deed is done." He says sitting down next to Hannah's bed.
