Butterfly Thread

This is a place to post butterfly-related things, such as questions and response videos!

YAY, we have our own Thread! This is nice and roomy I can spread my wings and not hit anyone.

So I'm thinking Get to Know the Butterflies posts might be a good idea for this thread, so I'll get the ball rolling.

I'm Laparus, ChewieV2 here and on Youtube.
I am hairy and Irish and was one of the original Butterfflies.
Roivas says I'm rare and special, Help3r calls me "the special infection" and even Caught seems to single me out for stuff.
I was the first (of only two) to be stupid enough to give Roivas my home address. The box basically contained stuff telling me to look after my fellow butterfly Glaucopsyche.
Caught asked me to look after our Younglings, I've keep getting referred to as the "Dad" of the Butterflies . . . oh, and I'm one of the Mods over on the Butterfly Tinychat.

Following Chewie's example, I'm going to introduce myself. My butterfly name is Heliconioides, on youtube I am Njurana and on the tinychat as well as here I am Xilaya. I have only become a butterfly quite recently and I've only made two videos so far, but somehow I get the feeling I will make more as time passes. I haven't had a chance to find out what Roivas reason behind giving me that name was but I'm sure I'll find out eventually.

I guess I'll get this out of the way, then!

I'm Lycaena, the "shy-natured" butterfly, and I was in the first batch along with Chewie! I'm camera-shy so I tend to log instead of asking questions when we have visits (all of which can be found in my signature).

Roivas has given me the task of teaching Inachis (thefallenenvoy) respect, and Showtime says it'll be my fault that he dies alone ;__; Help3r called me bright once and apparently he is my prom date, so I tend to get a lot of flack for that, but it's all in good fun :3 I happen to be a butterfly chat mod as well.

I'm Inachis. I'm "playful to a fault" and need to "learn respect" which is bullshit because I am the best butterfly.

Oh...and beat is my lord and master according to Roivas (though originally suggested by showtime)

Hey, I'm Apollo. I'm one of the newest butterflies, having only been named a couple weeks ago. This is also my first post on Slendernation, so hello world!

I'm MissAnna in most places around the Slenderverse, originally posted my application video on my "fuzzyfishdorito" youtube account, but have since started a new youtube just for butterfly business, which is MyNameIsMissApollo.

A couple days ago, Roivas informed me that the reason behind my name was because, "you are thoughtful, and positive, more then you may think. You bring hope." Like I said, I'm very new, still finding my place in all this, but I like it here, and hope to become very involved.

Hey, my butterfly name is Hypopolia, also known as Kimashura on the tinychat, and I just recently became a butterfly about a week ago. Roivas stopped by a few days ago and said that "You have much strength below the surface, but you do not yet tap into it. You must." Other than that I really don't have much to say

Roivas has told me they named me Loxura because I "dwell within mystery" and also added that I have "yet to see the strength [I] will hold in straight forward conflict".

This suggests to me that the butterflies are going to be in for a fight of some kind in the near future (whether it be physical, mental, emotional or a mixture of all three), of which I'll likely be on the front lines of.

I have no problems with that, if that is the case.

I tend to consider every and all possibility's in the same light until otherwise proven, which I suppose can sometimes come off as paradoxical...

On a lighter note, I supposedly have the voice of an Angel...
And one day I will have a sword named 'Lag's Bane' and I will use it to destroy all Lag and free the Internet forever!

Anyway, I'm EvilRhino229 on Tinychat and on every other website I joined in the last two years, and VaderforprezAZ09 everywhere else (Just YouTube...).
My butterfly name is Appalachia, and I have yet to know why.
I really should make a seperate YouTube for Butterfly purposes, but I don't want to because Google hates me.

Hi I'm Banana, a.k.a. Glaucopsyche. (It's okay if you don't want to try to pronounce that. Neither do I.) My name was given because Roivas says "she sees more than she knows". I still haven't much of a clue as to what that's supposed to mean, but in plot-heavier times, some of my less thought-out theories and suggestions came eerily true. I'm also apparently one of the shiniest butterflies, in terms of eye-glow.

I'm also supposed to be first on the Showtime Killer's list, according to the mystery box Chewie/Laparus got. To which I say, come at me bro. I'm more bored with it than scared anymore. Of course, that could very well be a fatal flaw on my part, but we won't know until we try! 8D

I'm pretty much always in the chat, but I only really tend to be present when someone mentions me for any reason. So if you're looking to get my attention, just say the word :3

Hi, i'm Xuchilvith. I'm Xuchilvith pretty much everywhere on the internet. Because it's fucking easier that way ya chumps. My butterfly name is Interrogationis, apparently because i underestimate my potential. Or other people do. Or something.

I am also the anti-butterfly. I want out of this bullshit. I don't use my butterfly name in chat, and i don't get on cam when Roivas comes in. Because i've realized that Roivas has done nothing for anyone, and all we have to go on about anything is their word. And it's just not good enough anymore. What little Roivas will tell us about themselves is pretty fucking scary, and the more i know, the less i want to be a part of helping this thing.

So my advice is, don't just jump into this butterfly thing like i did, because Roivas never lets you go once you do.

Wow, okay then if we're doing introductions...

I'm BlueEyes (or DyslexicRat or GrungePixie, depending on where you are), and my butterfly is the Madeiran Large White, or Pieris Wollastoni. This butterfly lives on the island of Madeira, but hasn't been seen in twenty years because of disease and habitat wipeouts.

According to Roivas, my butterfly meaning is that "I am fragile, but very incredibly strong." I guess they have a point, I'll only get into a fight if it's necessary and when I do you better watch out. Other than that, I've got noodle arms and no self esteem XD.

I got into CNS right after it started, having seen the thread on here. I was there in the beginning for all the original Help3r and Roivas videos, and was one of the ones Help3r put up for the choice of being the Chosen, to which CheckersValentine is now. I dropped off the map for a while and came back a few months ago.

I don't hold an important role in the Butterflies at all, so if you want the super secret stuff, you'd have to ask one of the higher ups about all of that. I'm in chat a good bit of the time, especially in the evenings.

You can ask me questions if you like, but you'd probably do better to ask Chewie, Banana, Crusay, or Beat.

Um. My butterfly name is "urbanus" and I've been a butterfly for about a month now. Roivas says I will get great strength from learning to lean on the family or some shit. idk XD
