I guess I should ask this, here.

So, I joined a few days ago, but as such I have a low post count, yes, but that's because I'm more a reader then a writer, in forum options, I guess you'd say, lol.

So, I run the blog One Man and His Trees, which is my first -real- foray into attempting a Slender Man series.

I've had people(including Josh from Angel's Game/APColleciton) tell me that they enjoy it, but I just get the feeling it's...well, shit.

I'm at an impasse anyway as it is. I am literally out of ideas how to proceed following the last entry I put up. I have no access to a camera so I can record the planned confrontation with the writer of the notes that I wanted, and the guy I had volunteer to play the antagonist is busy with relationship stuff, as far as I know, and can't help.

So...yes. I'm throwing myself on the mercy of more advanced, epic Slenderbloggers, asking you humbly to share your ideas with me to make my work less rubbish.

Well I don't really have any good advice for "where to go from here" since that's usually best worked out on your own I would imagine... though I would like to say maybe don't be too hard on yourself there. If it's one thing I've learned, it's that artists and writers always seem to think their work is terrible. I mean, I think my blog is shit, but people keep telling me otherwise, so I guess it's actually good. XD Sometimes you just need to relax a bit. As long as other people are enjoying your work then you're doing good.

I know the feeling man, I think my slender vlog is terrible but i'm often told that it is rather good, This just proves your point man.

People tell me they like mine which feels good. It's just hard to believe at times for me. XD

I'd love to have filmed parts of it, but as I said, I'm poor and have no access to a camera at this present time. Plus, I kind of live in the middle of nowhere in regards to good electronic stories. Ah well.

You live in the middle of nowhere?

Well, when I say "middle of nowhere", I mean I live in a fair sized city but rather...far away from the main part of it.

Firstly, let me just say that I also think your blog is great. I took the time out a few days ago to fully read it through, and I'm really wanting to see what's gonna happen next.

It's not a big fuss if you don't have a camera - just keep writing as you do and it'll still seem believable and good.

PS - Nice work on the codes - makes a good change from the binary/base64 that seems to permeate the very fabric of slenderblogging.

It's funny - the reason I at first didn't use the binary codes is because well..I'm no good at making complex puzzles like that, so I kept it simple with a word scramble.

When me and my friends started out slendy video blog, I thought it would maybe get 50 views, and that would be it for each video. The total channel views are now over 2000 (!), and it's pretty hard to believe. Just try your best at making it good, and do what you think is best, and just enjoy doing it. If there's something that we won't enjoy trying to do then we don't do it. We'll throw about ideas until we find something that will be fun to film and challenge us as well. Just enjoy doing it, it can be great fun!
