Unless one of them is legitimately nuts. Then that predictability disappears. I'm not afraid of humans per se, but humans that are crazy are a very real thing to be afraid of. Sociopaths and psychopaths man. I'm also afraid of never waking up from a dream. Fuck that.

| What scares me.
Birds. Birds scare the ever living fuck out of me. It's gotten me into a couple of bad spots that haven't ever been resolved.
When I was a kid I was just sitting in my front yard. A chicken started walking down the street and stopped when it saw me. I smiled at it and next thing I know my ass if up the nearest tree and the chicken is making sounds that shouldn't be heard in this realm of existence.
Then when the chicken is gone and I've calmed down my mom's fiance drags me to a pet store to look at a parrot. This bitch bit me when I tried to give it food (Which was allowed by the owners themselves mind you).
I have not had the best time with birds and they can all fucking die in a fire.

| What scares me the most is when someone, usually a child in modern horror films, is standing in the middle of something wholly unnatural and acts entirely unaware of it. It's as if the kid's used to it or part of it and that's disturbing. | |

| The thing that terrifies me the most is the idea of being absolutely alone in the world. Think empty city. | |

| I am completely terrified of the thought of being locked in a pitch black room. Couple that with dead silence and I'd probably die of a heart attack.
I'm also terrified of my eyes being touched, I had a panic attack at the eye-doctor-place-thing (optometrist, perhaps?) because they wanted to do a glaucoma test and had to touch my eye with this thing. There was a lot of crying and hyperventilating going on.
Being buried alive and nearly drowning are two other fears of mine. I nearly drowned as a kid, so I can't deal with the thought of it or when someone is drowning in movies.

| Forgetting someone's name or being afraid to say it to their face.
It's the reason I still only call my boyfriend by his nickname. He's Vietnamese and has a rather strange name, I hate the idea of messing up his name.

| @Mennos: I know that feel with drowning and eyes. Both stem from extremely unpleasant experiences... | |

It seems as if you feel that fear a lot, because the human mind is always at absence of knowledge.

| Needles.
I sliced most of a toe off when I was two and a half years old. Was taken to the emergency room and had to have stitches. It took three Marines to hold me down while the doctor gave me the stitches.
I donate blood, but I still hate needles.
