| This thread is for all of you who run your own Slender Man vlogs and blogs. I want you all to sit back and think about this. All of you have created something that has added to the story of our beloved Slender Man. No matter the story, you did it. Your story is there, for everyone else to see. The stories don't have to coincide with others, nor do they have to be long or short, detailed or un-detailed. It's yours. It's your contribution to the Slenderverse, and it will remain there, waiting for other viewers and fans to stumble across them. And then you realized something: you entertained someone, scared someone, made someone look over their shoulder in fear of what they just watched of your work would be standing in their doorway. Who knows? Maybe you inspired someone, inspired someone to write their own story, thus expanding our Slenderverse. Maybe your work is the first that they've seen of the Slender Man, thus sending them into an entirely new world that they can explore, our Slenderverse. Just think about this for a little while. It's inspiring. So if any of you plan on deleting your videos or deleting your blog posts, do the Slenderverse a favor. Let it remain. | |

| I applaud this post. Seriously.
One question, what brought this lovely post emulating what everyone is thinking?
(Once again, apologies for my spelling mistakes.)

(Once again, apologies for my spelling mistakes.) Earlier today, I just kind of looked at the Slenderverse as a whole and just thought, "These people need to be proud of what they've done".

| I was once unknowingly used in a wallpaper as the Slender Man (they used a picture of my costume and photoshopped it into a trashed room).
I flippin' love it. I feel like not only a part of the Slenderverse, but convincing enough to be the Slender Man himself. I felt pretty good about everything that day.

| Thanks Very proud of it. AlphabeticWar, considering we probably live nowhere near each other, probably not. andywarski, probably for mostly 2 reasons: 1. They either hated it/no longer needed it, or 2. for "the story". | |

I just don't see the point in that. If they do it for that reason, their story is gone.

I'm afraid I cannot, I have priorities to attend to here.

| On-topic, I absolutely cannot wait to get my vlog running, whenever my co-director decides to start up eventually. I cannot wait for it to be part of the Slenderverse and hopefully make the Slender Man a little more aggressive than most.
I plan on doing a couple things to separate us from the rest.

| Well, one thing I plan on doing is playing a character rarely seen on screen (largely because it's unnecessary) who mostly does research and such and writes reports on old cases as the series progresses.
The other one is more or less just the aggression. I'm not talking like "oh noes slendy slapped me", but more like "I was lying on my stomach, flipped over, and found myself face-to-noface with the Slender Man and he is now trying to kill me"
I'm trying to think of more to seperate us, and I dont plan on using much distortion, and mostly just keeping it down to a certain level, if that much.

From what I've seen, it's often because they lose faith in their series, or get a lot of negative feedback. For instance, 2080twentyeighty has long since been deleted so that no one can laugh anymore at what has gone down as their moment of glory: a few minutes of one video in which the camera's gaze rested on a notoriously dirty toilet. I'm also familiar with the feeling that comes when one loses all motivation to work on a project. One might feel like it's better to discard the project entirely rather than leave anyone any false hope that there will be more work done on something they're not happy with. It's also happened before where a creator may feel that the content in some of their videos may affect their future adversely, and that it's a better idea to take the series down rather than risk their future. But hey, keep in mind: at the same time, the creators wouldn't have what they do without the fans behind them. :'D It's good to show support like this for people whose works you appreciate.

| I have to say, this is an inspirational topic I will definitely keep my videos up when my series is finished now... I might check the channel again in 50 years and see how many views and inboxes I have... | |
