Happy Valintines day

or slash day as i call it because thats pretty much what I'm going to do when i get home let me say a couple of things

1. So help me God if I see one more damn carnation/rose

2. Like every Slash Day I realize how truley alone (save for this site. Thank you all) I am.

3. For those who had a great Slash Day... props. It's good to know that someone survived another year with their heart intact (no sarcasm).

I don't know where you are living, but Valentines Day is the 14th not the 13th. It is indeed Valentines where some people live, but here it's not even the dawn of the 13th. I think you jumped the gun on this one Alker.

Just remind yourself that Valentine's Day was invented by Hallmark to make money. Sure, its nice to have a day set aside to spoil your significant other, (trust me, I'm not complaining) but you should be that awesome to your lover everyday. Sure, its kind of also "Single's Awareness Day," but think about people without parents on Mother's/Father's Day. Its kind of the same thing. Don't let it get to you, because someday, you'll find someone and it'll be great.

I thought Valentine's Day was a day to celebrate St. Valentine.

Sethlapod is right on that one. While People refer to Valentine's Day as a Hallmark Holiday due to it's high commercialism, it has been around since the late 15th century. Hallmark does in fact not invent holidays.

God, you're so sweet. I love you, Tim. I'm so glad I didn't refuse the offer to start that ARG. Because of this lovely site, we can have all of this.
