| The following, though speculative, seem somewhat accurate. - Spoiler:
Alex does not know where they are Hoody does know where they are Hoody is probably Brian Hoody is probably TTA Hoody hides out in a shack with a mattress Hoody frequents the tunnels under the burned place Hoody sometimes removes his mask to drink water Alex looks incredibly strange with all that facial hair The final showdown between Alex/Operator/Jay/Timasky/Hoody will be fucking awesome, assuming it actually happens The build-up for this show down may kill me

I think what makes Alex look strange is not so much the face-fuzz as the lack of glasses. If he had his specs on and he wasn't all puffy-eyed and bruised he'd look pretty stylin'. Though it does raise the odd proposition that someone who is clearly deranged and under the single-minded influence of a supernatural torture-killing machine still has the notion to experiment with a new look Also I've more or less always been in the "Hoodie is Brian" camp, though I would love it if it turned out to be minor Series 1 cast member Sarah. Or Amy. Amy would be very out of left-field, and we never did resolve what happened to her (even Jay's apparently stopped giving a shit) I'm getting more and more jittery as the End Of Days approaches; I'm perpetually terrified that they won't be able to create a climax that can match the build-up. It feels like nothing short of burning down what's left of the abandoned hospital can do justice to this motherfucker, and that's somewhat impractical on Marble Hornets' budget

| If you pause at 1:26, you can see a face in there... Who could it be? From haircut, it might be Brian, but I'm not sure... | |

There's the face, for what it's worth. I can't place it either, but Brian remains the likely suspect

| I'm guessing it's either Brian or Seth. | |

| At first, I thought this entry was just more filler. Then I noticed something...
Alex is not at all surprised to see Hoody's face. They even called this out to us with the "wipe that stupid grin" comment.
Alex knows who Hoodie is. How long has he known?
Further, Alex didn't really do anything threatening. He broke Tim's leg, and was clearly willing to do worse. He tried to shoot Jay and Jessica. He bludgeoned a random hiker to death. He's clearly not one to avoid violence.
So why, when clearly Hoodie had information Alex desperately wanted, didn't he do anything violent?
Hoodie said that Alex is afraid. Of what, exactly? The tunnels? Or does Hoodie have something looking out for him, too?
Alex may have known who TTA (if Hoodie is TTA, and it seems likely he's at least part of it) is from the beginning. If so, then there must be something (whatever he's afraid of) keeping him from acting directly against Hoodie. This whole thing with Jay and Tim may have been a proxy war (forgive the pun) between Alex and Hoodie.
Also, the "We are trapped" line reminded me of "You will lead us to the ark." Maybe Jay and Tim will lead both Hoody and Alex to the Ark (whatever/wherever that is), and to some final confrontation.

| Troy is killing me here. All this talk of a final confrontation is driving me nuts. | |

| First of all, AHH. Second: Hoody sitting down on his bed and drinking water is a huge thing for me in terms of establishing him as human. The interaction between him and Alex is great too... As for speculation. - Spoiler:
The Hoody/TTA question: I hold to the idea that originally, both Hoody and Masky were the operators (hee) of the TTA channel. In Season 1, Masky was taking much more creative control; the black and white mask, with its expression of mild surprise, reflects the minimalistic and fairly reserved content of the Season 1 TTA videos. They are cryptic, they are evasive, they dot hints here and there and tease. In Season 2, Hoody has taken his seat in the editing booth, and gradually phases out Masky from the role of creepy-video-creator as things get rougher for Masky/Tim. Hoody's exaggerated black and red mask of an almost caricature-like sad expression reflects his style. He is brasher, bolder, far more direct and dramatic than Masky in terms of his videos. He doesn't fool around as much with skidding around a point he wants to make; he's relatively more in-your-face about it. "You are broken." "Did you see me? I saw you." "Today is your last birthday." No anagrams here, though he does still have coded things and such. Now, Hoody is totally in control of the channel.
