I'm referring more to the end, when the characters decide that the most important thing to do is to provide Freudian analyses of themselves and then spend the last two episodes contemplating their recycled footage. The basic plot is straightforward enough. But if you say that you understood absolutely everything about it the first time through, you are lying.

Just like with Homestuck.

Did you watch "End of Evangelion"? Because with that added on, it most certainly did not end with Freudian analysis and recycled footage. It ended with Freudian analysis and everyone turning into Tang.

Managed to keep up with Homestuck as well, but that's only because I'm really good with following timey wimey, complicated plots. Still wasn't able to keep track of everything (as demonstrated on this very thread), but I followed all the major plot points without having to read any of the summaries.

well let's remember, iirc, that EoE's creator had a huge freaking breakdown too.

and AH is sane so far we know, so who really is the more convoluted?

I just started the intermission today. I VOW TO FINISH IT TONIGHT. I VOW IT. And at least get the beginning of Act 4 done. And that blatant SadoMaso thing he has going on, which is actually amusing.) But I'd drive myself crazy trying to pick one! Let alone a T-shirt.

(Also, a litte off-topic and very silly. But if eating chicken nuggets makes Tavros a cannibal, does it make Karkat a cannibal if he eats a Kitkat? Because that is my unarguable headcanon now.)

Hero of Time for me, While Karkat is my favorite troll, I always felt somehow that if I were playing this, like as an RPG, that Aradia would be my troll of choice.

I really would like to get me a Vriska and Gamzee shirt. And I'll just wait for a Bard of Rage hoodie, Thief of Light never interested me as much as it should.
