I've decided that, after I'm done with Don't Shoot The Messenger, Nee-chan (my psychotic, knife nut, weeaboo proxy) is going to become an Open Source character. I will also let people use her now if needed, but please, talk to me about it first.
Also, since DSTM is its own blog now, and The Messenger very much has his own character, please at least talk to me to okay what you have planned if you want to make a Messenger post (I AM FUCKING LOOKING AT YOU, RON).

Zero, I just thought I should let you know that I used your concept of the Bleeding Tree in If Ye Cannot Bring Good News (the tie-in to my main blog), but I kinda.... took some liberties with it to make it fit into my mythos. ;__; I hope you don't mind. Yell at me if that's not okay, and I will find another idea to use for that part of the story.
((Also, Omega, would you be interested in making an appearance in my strange little bastard of a Slenderblog?))
i'll look at it, but off the top of my head, since the Tree is as ill defined as slendy was at the start, I see nothing wrong with it having a few tangents of things it may do...assuming it doesn't rip itself out of the ground and attack you with roots *eyes Konaa* *laughs*
okay just read the entry, I enjoyed it, its an interesting blog too, its going on my watch list

As far as I know, there's no fanart of Nee-chan (but I'd be delighted if I were proved wrong). But if you you want to get an idea of what she looks like, I'm sure you can find one of my biggest influences for her.

Considering the sudden violent shifts that girl had in the opening, I can only say... Fitting.
Horribly off-topic but:
So THIS is that song mentioned about being catchy in the comments for DSTM. GodDAMNIT as if I didn't have enough songs getting stuck in my head. Were Duck Tales, Caramelldansen and many more songs never leaving the memory, not enough?
BACK ON TOPIC:
When I get further in my blog/as well as actually into Slender stuff, will probably see if there's anything here I might be able to use. Might even have stuff to contribute eventually.
Also: I want to see one of Omega's deaths be at the hands of Nee-Chan. For comedy's sake.

Hmm. Is the 'mysterious tape sender' open source? Because videos of important plot point would be extremely creepy to have show up at someone's house. Maybe even with a note like, "While I was at it, I figured you should see THIS." Omega dying in a video like that would be wonderful.
That tiny little evil child is what influences Nee-chan? Hmm. Also, I have a question. I know I wrote about it and should know, but how old is Nee-chan supposed to be? I'm curious for the mental images.
This is technically something I haven't explored yet in the mythos, but my main character is slowly gaining fame as being 'neutral'. If you really want to be honest, she's just Grey area with a capital G. If someone wanted to pin a 'slendy related crime' or 'mysterious benefactor' on her, it would be hilarious to see her popping up at random places. (Like the blind woman that the hero always manages to find, with the 'sage' advice. Oh god. The images.) So technically, she's somewhat open source as long as she doesn't die. (I have eventual plans for her death, plus, she's my main character right now.)

If anyone wants it, my blog has a book people might want to use: It's called "The Walking Willow; A Legacy of Murder Throughout the Ages" and was written by a H.R. Bleakley (not his real name). It's a study of Slendy activity, and analysis/theorizing. Rather similar to The Navidson Record. It's rather show-offishly written, often wrong and lacks editing, but it's still too close to the truth to be safe to read. It WILL be enough to tempt Slendy; indeed, that's actually why it was made. I've used excerpts on my blog. To make sure you don't contradict anything, the entries are in may, and all begin with page numbers.
Oh, and there are only, like 40 copies. No-one would publish it after people started disappearing.
Feel free to use for all your mythology needs!
There'll be more for this thread from my blog once it's done.
I may do a few subtle references to this in short nursery rhymes about Slendy referring to him as a willow/walking willow, if you wouldn't mind. c:

Due to Omega's OOG status, I've noticed he seems to love making lots of comedic style comments on blogs, even when something tragic is going on.
I tried to adapt that into his appearance here. When you constantly die and keep coming back, I suppose fear of death is right out the window huh?
On a related note, also sort of used the Path of Black Leaves, it was more of your standard labyrinth than anything but I mixed in a touch of the Path into it.

Omega might not be dead! It all happened offscreen! You can't say for certain whether he survived or not!
Personal headcanon: Omega won the swordfight and rescued the children. Then they all leaped onto his trusty mount, Rainbow Dash, and flew away.

Well, I can't link to my blog for seven days yet, but if your characters wind up in West Michigan (specifically Muskegon) they may run into third grade teacher James Carlson, age 34 about 5'11 140lbs short brown hair and beard. A fan of Candle Cove which has recently begun airing new episodes.
Some of his students may also be of interest, note these are not their real names, they're pseudonyms he uses for them when he posts about them on his blog. Their names do start with the same letter though. Jeff and Evan have had an encounter with the Choir, it resulted in Evan getting into a fight with Jeff over an insult to Evans mother that Jeff never said. Alex has a monster in his closet, a very pale monster that whispers to him when he sleeps. It hasn't started cutting his arms yet. There is one student who's real name my current readers have probably figured out already, Jennifer, who's terrified by the Skin-Taker.
Speaking of the Skin-Taker, the plot line of the new Candle Cove episodes (if anyone wants a character to catch one of the new episodes) has Pirate Percy looking for Janice who's missing. He's worried that Horace Horrible and the Skin-Taker might find her first. Once Pirate Percy finds Janice, during Thanksgiving break, more typical episodes including Janice will be airing.
By the way Omega, I think I have the perfect roll for you later in the story.

The very unlucky man. The in character version of Proxiehunter still insists on believing that story to be a cautionary tale spread from Runner to Runner.
Edit: Wow, I can't even quote a post that someone else put a link in.

I know he was put down as the Unlucky Man, but I think it'd be even more interesting if he was one of the big Fears heh

Well, if he were any of the Fears one could argue that any appearances after his first death were the Archangel.
Hmm, paranoia about that possibility might be useful. Not for the blog I'm doing, but for someone else . . .
I mean there are all these reports about the same person who keeps dying, what else could it be?

Okay, next season they need to dress Rory like Omega. Although except for the dying part he's got a good argument for being the LUCKIEST man.
