| Recently, I showed my Buddy several entry's from Marble Hornets, during it he was calmly pointing Slendy out, then later, I get a phone call from him telling me he was scared shittless, he sounded like he'd been crying... I feel guiltover this incedent. | |

1: Watched most of uploaded MH. 2: Got the crap scared out of me. 2: Actually did some research. Not so much scared anymore. 4: Found out about the Tulpa Theory. Was all "Oh, damndamndamn..." 5: Found Splendorman. 6: Back to normal.. as 'normal' as that is...
Replace "Splendorman" with those videos of MH footage with the "some guy yells at some cats" audio dubbed over it, and get rid of the "back to normal" bit, and you have me. xD I still find Slendy terrifying and, though my brain knows he's not real, my gut seems to tell me otherwise. I still look for him at the edge of the woods, and out the doors and windows at night. Only thing that's changed is now I can't watch the early entries of MH seriously. I see the Operator sneaking in Alex's door at night and all I think is "STAY THE FUCK OUT OF MY CLOSET!"

| I once, after watching some Marble Hornets, looked out of my kitchen window and cacked myself when I imagined seeing Slenderman right outside my window, later turned out to be a reflection of suddy water.... My eyesight failed me. | |

| I still remember clutching the arms of my chair when Masky attacked Jay in his first appearance. I still remember walking outside after watching up to Entry #35 and staring off at the sunset back last Spring Break. | |

| I told my friend about MH and he asked, "And this is all fake right?".
That made my day.
I was tempted to say "I dunno, find out for yourself."

| Slendy in day-time during some entries.
The illusion that daytime is safe completely shatters after that.

| I believe it was Entry #18 where totheark appeared first, just to get it right for you and i have to agree it was Marble Hornets that also made me fear the woods during the day as well as night. | |

| I love when friends don't know whether it's legit or not. The ambiguous response of "we just don't know" tends to draw out the best reactions. | |

| I watched Marble Hornets 1-27 the first time with headphones on. All the distortion made me jump every time because of how loud it was. MH updated a few months ago and I was in bed at the time looking at youtube vids on my ipod when i saw the update. I thought, "hey, on the tiny screen it shouldn't be so scary." Turns out, I had to put my face really close to read the opening slates and I never moved it back. Then when Slendy popped out, it made me scream and jump a little and my roommate in the dorm gave me a funny look untill i told her I was watching MH. She understood and didn't ask. | |

| Was showing the series to a buddy of mine who had never seen it before. Once I got to the youtube page, I noticed there was a whole plethora of new entries I hadn't seen yet as well. As 2 am rolled around, we sat there in the utter darkness eagerly approaching entry #52. As it drew closer our fears of what would happen next began to build and build until the moment my door unexpectedly opened itself. Save to say we pretty much jumped out of our skins. Upon further investigation it turned out that my door wasn't shut all the way and the air condition of my house blew it open. Innocent enough occurrence but god it was perfect timing lol | |

| I actually had a similar occurrence, but not with Marble Hornets. I was telling one of my old supervisors the plot to Cloverfield. That was the first ARG I had gotten into, so I told him about all that stuff and then told him about the monster attacking New York. With a serious face, he turned to me and said "This really happened?!"
I had to struggle to keep from being like "Yes, a giant monster attacked New York and the only footage is from these guys with cameras." I mean the movie had been out a few weeks, lol.

| Slendy is scary, but the real scary thing about him is that he looks almost exactly like my imaginary friend as a kid. And im seriously not joking. The only differience is that my imaginary friend had eye sockets. | |

| The first time I watched Entry #14, right as Slendy was fully visible in the doorway, the video froze. I sat in silence for a couple seconds, thinking it was just buffering or something, but it didn't unfreeze. I shut the lid on my laptop, grabbed all the pillows and blankets around me, and said "I'm fucked, aren't I?" | |

| I've linked Marble Hornets to several people. One of them, asked me if it was real early on (like during the Intro) and I said no. He watched a few and said "Man, I think this is real." I didn't want to say anything, like, to break the immersion or to spoil it. After he watched the 7th one (they're in the car) he caught on and realize it was fake. He, then was no longer interested in watching it | |
