Meet Baran, ladies and gentlemen.

Good afternoon.

Or morning.

Or perhaps you're sleep-reading. Don't worry, I've heard and seen weirder things.


My name is Baran. I am a half Turkish, half Welsh boy who lives somewhere near Norwich in Sunny Ol' England.
I am, at the time I wrote this (Feb 2013) 14 years of age. I like to think I'm fairly mature and rational, but Welsh and Turkish blood has always mixed strangely. Maybe because they've been on opposing sides of just about every disagreement since... well, ever.
Allow me to list a few.

WWI.

WWII.

Potentially, the rights for coloured peoples movement.

The Crusades.

The Other Crusades.

The Crusades that nobody yelled on about from the vatican that inevitably took place in-between the other 2 crusades. The Unofficial ones, you might say.

Any number of secret wars, like the whole Templars VS Dragon VS Illuminati thing. I dearly hope I haven't inadvertently put anybody to the sword by saying that.


And that might just be to name a few, but lets get on from the boring prospect of Welshmen shooting at Turks with bows, and the Turks hacking Welshmen to pieces with lovely-ly designed swords. I do love scimitars.


I do a lot in my free time.
I play video games of any number of genres (That'll be mainly indie, folks.)
I host my own youtube channel, which is part of a larger (but still pathetically small) network of channels I want to be a part of when they start to grow.
I used to draw manga. This didn't end well for a number of reasons. I took to drawing landscapes and cityscapes instead. I still do the odd person, but *all* of it is just concept art for a book a friend and me are writing anyway. Speaking of which...
I love writing. I truly do. I really despise bragging- I find it slovenly, big-headed and just plain dumb- but I'm very good at what I write. Or so I'd like to think. Another outlet of the creative desires I find mashing themselves to a fine grey pulp inside the Hadron Collider that is my brain is Role Play. I am, whilst I write this, looking into any number of RPs on this very forum. (Good luck, my dear humans. I plan on being slenderman.)
I also like archery, and I do a number of martial arts (2). One of them being for fun, and the other one being for the fact that every now and again we get to stay out late at a pub after training. Well, that and it lets me crush a man's ribcage and puncture his heart with one of the said ribs with a single kick. Being a former bullying victim, this knowledge comforts me. To all those who suffer bullying, I beseech you- take up Tai Jutsu. Or, in fact, any martial art. Normally, just mentioning something vaguely Japanese scares people out of their wits for some reason- unless they do it too.


Also, I do- to some extent- believe in slenderman. This is borne not of the fabricated evidence I see on earth, but from the principle of "In an infinite universe, anything that can exist, must exist." And that Myths (German Slendy included) are always founded on some base of obscure truth, and with Slenderman it can be a little hard to just think him up randomly.

He has to appear.

Welcome aboard, love a long post. That's usually a good sign. Heads up though: German Slendy mythology is completely the creation of the slenderverse. Slenderman was first thought up in a thread on a forum called Something Awful.
