| Hello everyone! I'm a grad student studying folklore. I'm especially interested in the supernatural, so you can see why I'm drawn to something like Slender Man. I started this account primarily as a way of doing additional research on the Slender phenomenon and community, but I'm also personally very interested in horror and the relationship between folklore and popular culture.

| Have you ever seen a broken water fountain? Like the ones you drink from? The kind where they're constantly flowing, but hardly any and not really enough to use properly? If I was a fountain of knowledge, that's the kind of fountain I'd be. Also, welcome to SN. | |
