The little icon at the bottom of the screen I think is supposed to be a metaphor for Hoody's current state. I think he's either slowly dying or losing control.
Losing control seems more likely because I noticed none of the usual TTA arrogance. Even in Decline I could feel it. But Conversion had none of it.
I feel that Conversion is supposed to be a reference to Jay's conversion to a proxy.

I think the idea of Jay becoming a Proxy is a little out there but still possible... it is hard to tell at this point, I feel like the next video is gonna reveal a lot, or at least when they decide to go to where Alex is hiding.

Maybe there's some kind of relation between the TTA entry and the medicines Tim was taking (and tried to make Jay take too) in the previous MH video, those that Hoody was stealing from his house.

I suspect that the meds are what Tim says they are, or at least have the effect he seems to want: Keeping him from going Masky. I thought that Hoodie was stealing the pills back when to bring Masky back out.

That's a smart assumption, but why is Tim trying to give the medicines to Jay, then?
He says in the #74 that the medication helps him not blacking out when the slender appears, tho.

| Considering the new entry, coupled with this, I think it's highly possible they are both lying. I truly believe that Jay knows more than he is letting on. You can sort of tell in his voice when he's lying and when he isn't, it's very slight and hard ti discern (which can just be on part of the actors) but it's there. I don't think he's forgotten as much as he has said.
Tim as we see in the newest entry was hiding whatever is on that tape, which Hoodie most definitely wanted to be known. I believe if Hoodie had succeeded in stealing the tape, it would've been uploaded to stop the charade. (Unless his efforts were only to make the tape known since he didn't take it himself).
Whatever is on that tape, I am certain, will reveal something very important about Jay. | |
