Logged Out?

I keep getting logged out. At first it was whenever I left Slender Nation to go to another website, now its about every time I click on something here. I still go to the page, I just log out.

Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know how to fix it?

...Is this some wierd Paragon special feature?

Its happened once or twice to me about a week ago, but it was such a small thing I didn't think too much about it. But that is most definitely unusual as well as inconvenient. If that's something on the forum's end, we apologize in advance. To my knowledge though, we've enabled no such feature, even for the April Fool's event.

Honestly though, I cant imagine what it COULD be on the forums end. Have you been clearing cache/cookies and stuff on your browser? That might be it. Do you have it set to log your account on from your computer? That might help. Pretty sure our resident tech mod is at work IRL now, but I'll be sure to direct this to his attention when he does come back around. Thanks.

I was gonna respond about how you were probably right, and that it was nothing. Only to realize I was logged out again. And that I had logged in not too long ago.

I can't imagine it would be my computer. It can't just be doing this to this one website only. Every website and forum I frequent seem fine.

Well if it's happening to no one else then it has to be a problem on your end. You're the only member who seems to have this problem.

Like Vivi said, try clearing your cookies.

I had this problem on another forum once. It logged me out constantly, then I cleared all my cookies and voilá! Back to normal.

If you're using Firefox, go to Tools, then Options, then Privacy, select "remove individual cookies", and then select "Remove all cookies"

It also helps to check the box that says "keep me logged in" or whatever. If the problem still persists, I'll look more into it.

Yo, Doctor. I wish to add a new aspect to this thread.

I had to head out, some 7 hours ago, and I forgot to log out. Would be nice if there was a back up system that logged me out if I went quiet for about at least 2 hours. Would that be a thing that is acceptable with other poor memoried members, like myself? Just asking and all

I just checked into that. If you're away for 10 minutes from the site, it considers you offline and logs you out. But if you have it set to where it keeps you logged in, then it won't log you out. The thing's a bit tricky. x.o

It took me alot to finally get logged into the site...
