New series?

I'm palnning on making a new Slenderman story. It's going to be a short novel, and it'll take place in WWII. I'm not exactly a pro at writing, so if anyone's open, could they couch me? I'll explain the details later.

If I were you, I would practice a little bit by writing a blog. But that's just me. You do whatever you feel most comfortable with. And at any rate, if you need it checked, I'm a grammar nazi. So feel free to forward it to me. I'd like to read it anyways. xD

Why?

Why are you planning on writing a short novel? I'm not discouraging you, I'm seriously asking what your intentions for doing this are.

I can give you a few pointers, but you have to (cheesiness alert) put your own heart and soul into it. (Mega cheesiness alert) No matter what you do, do it with passion. Writing included. If you love writing like you say you do, then you'll do it without thinking about it.

There's some fairly good and relevant advice in this thread that it'd be a good idea to check out before you start (even if you're not making a blog or vlog specifically, there's some relevant points).

I'm a bit wary, since you're so young, but I shouldn't be so stupid. One of my five favorite blogs was written by a fourteen-year-old. Your age shouldn't really matter. That's why I'd like to talk to you one-on-one some. I'd give you some advice if you're really serious about this.

Yes, Mr. LadyBug is a very good person to go to when it comes to blogs. I just recently started writing blogs that have to do with the fears. He's been at it for longer than I have and is very good at writing. (Yes, I have read them. Quite good, I might add.) So he's a good person to go to for advice.
