Consensus (the title is too short)

Wow...Alex. He's gone. I don't know what to say. I mean seriously...Alex was one of my favorite characters simply because he had his own thing going on with the Rake. Poor guy. I guess he's gone to join Sparky and his Parents in heaven. His send off was quite awesome, with how they had the flashbacks to other videos with him in it, like how they do in big budget movies. All that was needed was the sad music. I'm wondering how Jeff is taking this.

Wow...Vinnie's beard. It's gone. Wait...why did he get a shave? Was he trying to make Vinnie look nice for the funeral? Uh... yeah.

Anyway, my theory here is that Slendy killed Alex, who previously had no interactions with Slenderman, because he was going to reveal some important info that the Rake told him. Everything started when he said "He told me something about you guys" or something along those lines. I think he was about to reveal important info that Slendy wanted kept secret.

Anyway...yeah...holy crap what an update. Poor Alex .

Poor Jeff also! Think about it. Dude's lost his parents, his girlfriend, the family dog, and now his brother. He's got nothing left except that house and the few friends remaining. How's he going to feel? Evan has buried psychosis. Vinny's cracking.
Everyone these guys come into contact with either winds up dead or missing or whacko. It's like they're slowly being driven into a corner and toyed with before ultimate demise.
My cat used to play with the mice she caught until they died of heart attacks, and then she ate them.
This feels the same.

I know, poor Jeff. I feel for him. He has to feel all alone in the world, even with Evan and Vince there. To be truthful, I kind of expected Alex to survive all of this. I thought everyone else was going to die, and he was going to be the sole survivor, and either end up completely bonkers or finally find his sanity somehow. They're really whittling down the minor characters, I wonder if we're going to be coming to some kind of close here pretty soon. I hope not, I love EMH and it's probably my favorite Slenderseries, but nothing lasts forever.

I wonder if something OOC caused this to happen, like maybe Alex didn't want to be in it anymore, or maybe they couldn't think of a good way to keep his character going, since they seemed to have little for him to do other than be stalked by the Rake. Infact, that's a point in itself. I liked having the Rake in EMH, but with Jeff and Jessie gone, who else could be stalked by him? He seems to know the main characters are off limits...but there's not really anyone left except for Steph, who has gone from "main character" to "sometimes in the background." Still, I'm interested to see where they go with all this.

Out of all the slender series, EMH has the most solid acting, surprisingly. I'm sensing a pickup in plotspeed here. Whatever the cause, I think we're going to be seeing a whole lot of blood fly, and soon.

Multiple Slendy sightings, classic video distortion, and two dead within a few videos. This could possibly HABIT's punishment for outside help, or Slendy stepping up his game. Either way, things are going downhill for them. It'll be interesting to possibly see a proper end to a series, considering we haven't truly seen one.

I still say Alex's death was because he was about to say something important that the Rake told him. His death was a Slendy death, with the bag and everything. He'd never really had any interactions with Slendy before. But yeah, two deaths in such a short time period. Maybe Slendy was just like "Hey, I can kill people too! Let's keep things balanced, now!"

In other news, my epic crack theory is that Alex is the rake in another form. Impossible you say? Well...you're probably right. That's what crack theories are for.

The blood leading up to the blood bag, which presumably marks the end of Alex, or is supposed to make us believe that it's the end of alex, doesn't look particularly human. Then again I dunno if this is just a prop blood fail, or it ligitimently is supposed to look like tar.

My other crack theory is that Alex isn't really dead, and that blood bag has the rake or someother beastie in it. They tried awful hard to make us think Alex is dead without confirming anything...I'm not so sure they've really killed him...

Vinny seemed just as perplexed by his lack of a beard as we are. Spontanious hair loss? There's some sort of time warp here, not that Slendy can't do that. He screws around with time and space just to prove that he can. *grumble*
That black tar-like substance is a new feature. I haven't seen it before anywhere else. It's almost like...slenderman ectoplasm. In the succinct words of Evan, slendy gives off Sigma radiation like B.O., maybe this is another side effect of being in very close proximity to our tall friend.
I'm going to do a little research into Sigma radiation poisoning and see what I come up with. Or just Sigma in general. Should be interesting.

Either Steph or Vinny is going to bite it next. Steph for the obvious supporting character reason. Vinny because he's "heard too much", seems to be on Slendy's shitlist now. He's just going to keep going after Vinny until the poor dude's a gibbering wreck.

I'm thinking it's going to come down Vinny and Evan, Vinny being Slendy's subject, and Evan being HABIT's. Kind of works with them both being the original hosts as well.

This is true, I didn't think about that. There was that whole thing with Vinny's (very temporary) girlfriend. I think he did the killing himself and doesn't remember any of it. Poor guy. Slendy's got them isolated...wait. Do you think this is the selection process for proxies? Take away everything the victim knows and loves and reduce them to an animalistic state that is easily suggestable. They'd be living puppets, too out of their minds to care about what they do or why.

When he was driving with Alex, that was before he lost it. Vinny's beard was there during Intermission, the previous video, so maybe he grew it back really fast or something?

If you follow the iteration theory, it's hard to say when the Mining Town Four's "stand ins" will go. I don't think we'll see more deaths for a while. I believe the main characters will be the last to go. I think that Steph was supposed to be a main character, and ended up being more of a side character for some OOC reason. Out of the four, I think she'll be the next, but I don't think it'll all happen right away. I think we'll go without any deaths for a while now, and have the characters deal with what all has happened. Then, towards the end, I think Steph will go first, then maybe Jeff. I believe Vinny and Evan will be the last two left, and possibly survive. If they DO survive, and one of them has to go, I believe it will come down to Evan vs Vince, and in that case most likely Vince will win.

God I feel so bad for all of them, but especially Jeff though, now that Alex is... gone? Also, I'm so happy they're being more true to Rake now, he was talking to Alex and all, whispering to him in his dreams, etc. I will ignore the beard inconsistency for the sheer fact that it's EMH and they are fracking awesome. Excellent addition fellas.

Vinnie being the Voyeur. Does that make Evan the Firebrand? Of course, we could be wrong about Vinny, but there's a lot of suggestions about it.

I hate to see that happen to Alex. He was a pretty cool character and seeing him in the videos of the "Slendercon" make it more sad. I hope the series isn't coming to a close but it looks like we have some major plot progression here.
