All right! Let's get this party started! Note that when I go alphabetically, I'll be including words like "a" and "the" because Google Reader includes those words and I'm too lazy to order them otherwise.
...-See "Si vis pacem, para bellum" (when I get there, of course)
23 Seconds-HOLY VOICE, BATMAN!
-Seriously, the voice in this is amazing, although it IS slightly offset by the fact that it's really only one or two voices and it's often hard to tell who's writing a post until you get to the end.
-The writers kind of got in over their head with all the characters. They lampshade the whole Red Shirt trope and call the audience out for not caring about all these nameless characters who are dying. Still, a smaller group of students would have helped a lot.
A Hiking Deer-See "The Hiking Fiend"
A New Blog That's Not Mine-Comedy is hard. Often times, parody is even harder. ANBTNM does pretty well considering.
-It's probably stylistic suck to an extent, but that doesn't make it any less bland or annoying. It has basically two jokes ("I'm so awesome" and "something strange is going on but I don't notice it") over and over.
-That said, it's not a bad blog. Just not an amazing one. It is genuinely clever at times
-It went the route of the comedy blog, which is to say it stopped updating, came back once, and then stopped again. Seriously, only one (short) comedy blog has ever been finished (see A Hiking Deer). It's a real shame.
A Rainbow Life-I don't know if this one had one of those ambiguous endings or just stopped updating or what.
-This is one of the older blogs, meaning the ones that were finished by the time I got into the mythos. I guess it's sort of a "classic," but a more obscure one.
-Clever at times. Bland at times. The character's likeable, but there's really no strong narrative.
A Really Bad Joke-Companion Tumblr: An Even Worse Joke
-This blog is amazing.
-Like seriously, if you haven't read this blog, you need to. It's kind of like required reading for the mythos at this point.
-It's been pointed out to me that this blog is not hilarious. I suppose that no, it isn't. It's not a laugh-out-loud, side-splitting sort of funny. It's a more subtle humor, and one that runs off of refuge in audacity. That said, it's still funny, or at least amusing.
-It balances that humor with awesomeness and fear. That's something that's hard to do.
-If you haven't read this blog, you need to. Required reading. It's probably going to be one of the blogs I require all my staff members to read or something.
About life and stuff-Pretty sure I found this when Damien linked me to it. Apparently she was a commenter on Dreams in Darkness.
-This is the greatest blog ever.
-Nah, I'm just kidding. It's pretty bad. The narrative's disjointed and there's lots of typos and other problems. Four posts long. Not particularly laughable. Forgettable.
Adam's Epic Blog!!!-This is the best parody/comedy blog I've read. This may be because it actually had plot and used that plot to parody things instead of outright stating "This is supposed to be funny."
-I wish this blog would update again. It won't. But I wish it would. Again, gone the way of the comedy blog.
-I can sum up my argument for why you should read this blog in four words: Tommy the talking dog.
