Slenderverse Fan Facebook group

[I couldn't figure out where to put this, everything's different than it was last time I was on ]

There's a new group on Facebook, only about 50 members or so right now, but it's open, no affiliation to any particular forum or group of people. It's meant to be a place where fans of the Slender Man can meet and have fun together outside of ARGs or Forums.

There is moderation in the group to prevent spam, but apart from that there's no censorship whatsoever. There's lots of content creators in there right now, but it's not a creators group, it's a fan group for anyone and everyone that likes slendy.

Here's a link for anyone interested, I'd love to meet some new folks and I know a lot of the other people in the group would, too!

I'm loving this. Great idea.

I joined, and this is certainly fantastic thing I must say.

This is perfect opertunity for People interested or part of the Slenderverse to get to know eachother, this is just great.

Just a heads up, if you search "Slender Nation" on FB, you'll find two fan pages. One is not affiliated with the forum at all, and seems to focus more on the game than anything. The official page is a lot smaller (as it's pretty new) and has the SN logo as it's banner and profile picture.

Hey guys, I know this is a pretty old topic, but what if members of the FB group could put their name in the Title section of their SN profile so we could see who's who?

You could just introduce yourself via your SN Username when you sign up to the group, and we'll all just comment with our names on the page. Publicising real names is a privacy thing, and something I'm personally pretty touchy about. I've only let people on the internet hear my voice once, and I'm only Facebook friends with one interweb person (STEVEN!!)

Yeah, you're prob right, the best thing that could happen is that you get spammed with friend requests, worst thing that could happen is that someone finds out where you live. I wasn't saying that we should ALL do it, but just, like, the people who WANT to do it.

It's a good idea, but I personally would favour letting people know who you are in the group.

You just sound so paranoid. We won't find your address..... and send you twenty seven boxes of pizza.....

Oh I know, I'm a VERY paranoid person. With everything. I get these paranoia fits sometimes, like when I first watched Marble Hornets some year or two ago. I remember not being able to sleep for days.

Oh I know how you feel. The first few episodes of Marble Hornets were brutal. I remember when I first found them I was legitimately scared to watch them alone. Eventually I went over a friends house and we powered through basically all of the entries in a single night.

Oh, I watched them by myself. My friends have a genuine disinterest in anything Slender Man related except the game. That's one thing I don't like about the game: It creates a generation of people thinking they know everything about the mythos with only having played the game, and they think the vlogs, blogs, etc are just cheap rip-offs off the game.
