Slendie RP, Anyone?

"Thank you," she said, draining her mocha and hugging the mug to absorb the heat it still contained. "And, actually, I do have a question or two." She let stared into her mug, examining the dregs.

"Why is the Slender Man so interested in me?"

"To be honest, I never really figured out why he was prone to having fascinations with specific younglings. He's done the same routine to a number of people, usually resulting in him tricking the child into coming with him, where they end up losing their lives and being thrown into an existence worse than death.

I could chalk it up to some morbid sense of humor, some sick pleasure, or simply something he feels he has to do. In the end, that is all you really need to know. He may think he's doing some sort of service to the world, to humanity. But in truth, he's simply either deluding himself or has a motive I've yet to think of."

Eying the empty cup, he whistles and it refills automatically.
"I wish I could be more specific, but I cannot. In the end, the choice will be up to you. You could follow him, see what his motivation may be, perhaps even be happy with the knowledge. Or you could end up throwing yourself into the Abyss. All in all, while it is your decision, I will be here to guide you."

Done playing around The Slenderman walks back into the forest and finds a camper sleeping next to a large oak tree.

After climbing three floors John realises he has a problem, he can't get into the top floor. It's elavator doors are closed. So he descides to be a daredevil, he hooks his right arm through the rungs of the ladder and keeps his feet parralel to each other and un hooks his crowbar, he starts hitting the doors with it, making large dents in the metal and puncture marks, the echoing of the impact truly booms through the shaft and his yell of pain from using his left arm sounds just like an injured animal. "Maybe... I should just use the stairs..." He starts to climb back down to the second floor.

Hannah nodded and shivered at the idea that many children had become victims to Slender Man's ways. The strange thing was, however, that she was nearly 100% positive that he wouldn't harm her. He called her his 'child' constantly, almost in an affectionate way, it seemed.
Her extreme sense of curiosity made her want to follow him and see where she would led, but her practical side told her it was probably to her death. She decided that, for now, she'd choose the safe path and sit here, drinking mocha in pleasant company.

With a flip of his wrist, a blanket appears in his right hand.
"Blanket?" offering the wool blanket to her, drinking his tea with his left hand.

"Oh, erm, sure." She took the blanket from his hand, setting down her mug, and buried her face into its wooly folds. She sighed. The blanket had a beautiful, clean, homely scent about it that she breathed in deeply before tucking it around herself.

John managed to get back onto the second floor and with the crowbar held tight in both hands searched for the stariwell. He found it with a yellow paint sign, sloppily drawn on the wall saying "Stairs this way, dispshit" He followed it with slight ammusment at the sign. When he found the door to the stairs, he found it was locked. He started to pry it open with his crowbar it came to with an inward boom within the stairwell, he slowly opened the door and went into pitch black of the stairwell. He started wishing for a lighter and maybe some cigerettes. Guess I'm a smoker. He slowly crept forward, feeling his way with the crowbar so he didn't fall down the stairs or something. He found the hand rail and continued up his way.

Smiling, Luminen is already feeling better. That incident was, thankfully, quite rare and only happened a few times in the past four thousand years.
"The temperature doesn't bother me, due to my otherworldly presence. Hannah, there are a lot of things I'd like to tell you, to tell the world. But the sad fact is, few people can maintain their sanity once they've gained knowledge of not just the Fear Aspects, but the workings of the universe itself.

Though, I can reassure you. For those who don't live a life of crooked nature and generally are good people, they do have a "Heaven" as would be the term in your culture. But the polar opposite exists as well. Balance must be maintained in the universe. I was able to resurrect all those people due to Slenderman having upset the balance. By killing so many people at once, without proper permission from the beings higher than even us, he created a rift in the death-birth ratio. Both must be at 100 percent, otherwise....unpleasant things occur."

She lifted her head from blissfully rubbing her face against the blanket like a cat to look at Luminen. "What sort of 'unpleasant things'?" Scenes from films covering zombie apocalypses flashed through her mind.

John stopped, pretty sure if he took another step he'd plunge downwards. His crowbar didn't touch the step next up. He sighed and thought about doing something like feeling around to find out where the next step is. He decided against it, didn't want to break his neck. "Hey, Luminen!" He called out. "Hey, I need a light!" He was suddenly worried something else heard him in the darkness and was getting ready to jump him. But he was more scared of not knowing if something was there. Rock and a hard place here, man. Rock and a hard place... Calm down.

Hearing his plea, Luminen snaps his fingers and a plethora of light balls appear inside the building. With another snap of his fingers, a flashlight appears in John's hands with a note
"Just in case"

"Sorry about that, John needed a light. Anyways, pretty much what humans have come to call "cliched" stuff. The Undead roaming the streets, Sanity being far easier to lose, and animal-human hybrids. That is, of course, not all the bad things, but prominent examples."

John strained his eyes at the light and put the flashlight in his pocket. He looked in front of him, the next five steps were missing eith only some iron girding and traces of concrete remaining. "Geronimo." He said quietly and jumped out to the largest part of concrete. Luckily it held. He jumped out again like a mountain goat for the next flight of stairs, he made it. Except only his upper torso did the rest of him was hanging loosely. He slowly but surely climbed up. He layed there on the flat landing, breathless. He looked up to see some more writing. It said "Top floor right up these steps, brah." He got up and went up the stairs, feeling exhausted. To the door to the top floor, the penthouse as he thought it would be.

Hannah nodded, her suspicions confirmed. As someone interested in the paranormal and other seemingly fictional beings, Hannah was one of those people that had an extremely detailed Z Day plan already prepared. The idea of the dead rising didn't scare her in the least. Seeking warmth, she buried lower under the blanket.

"Fun fact: Many of your myths and stories are derived from such incidents. The Minotaur in Crete, The practice of cremation, etc. The only sure fire way to kill the zombies was, and is, to completely eradicate any chance of regeneration. Fire, Acid, crushing, explosives, etc. They won't keel over with a shot to the cranium."

Drinking some more tea, he breathes in calmly. "I hope I didn't frighten you."

Upon reaching the top floor he opens the door and is met by warmth and natural light, a gas lamp and a scruffy but cosy little squat is there. Bookshelves, a camper bed, green fibre glass crates and a dinner table covered in maps, books, manuels and a single, lone memeory stick fill this improvised room. He relaises, he made it back to somewhere familiar. He slammed the door behinh him and locked it. He lowered himself onto the fold-out bed and let the tension leave his body. "I made it..." he soon drifted asleep.

She shrugged. "It's okay, our generation has grown up with horror and fear, and I'm pretty sure that I've used up today's Scare Allowance on meeting Slender Man," she joked, edging closer and tucking herself into his side.

Smiling, he puts his left arm over her shoulder and hugs her. Relaxing himself, he closes his eyes.
"It is a nice day today, is it not?"

After sleeping a few minutes, John wakes up, confused, why had he gone to sleep he asks himself. He sits up, cups his head in his hands and gets up. He begins searching the room, he finds a large backpack, large enough to put most of the things in the room in there, excluding the furniture, of course. He puts the books and manuels in the backpack, carefully, he folds up the maps and stuffs them in as well. He sees the memory stick, he holds it up and looks at it like it was the holy grail, in awe. He stuffs that into his front pocket. He went through the green crates next. Finding only tins of food and some dried goods he left. He stopped at the door. The bookshelf, he went back and tried moving it, it tipped forward and smashed onto the floor. The floors below had dust knocked loose from their rotting upholstery. He had stepped aside and found a wooden panel covering something up, he used his crowbar to open it up and made an impressed whistle.

Louis put his empty mug down carefully on the kitchen counter, considering the implications of what he'd just witnessed... Well, heard. Hannah's telepathic message had been strong enough to overcome the barrier he'd place between both their minds, even if it was intended for Slender Man. Perhaps you're weakening, supplied his snide inner voice. He gritted his teeth, considering simply driving back to the reconstructed agency and attempting to put this whole twisted evening behind him.

'Calm down,' he murmured, eyes darting around the room, alighting upon the range of variously sized kitchen-knives as they caught the light, glittering dangerously. His mouth pulled up in an evil smirk, irises darkening as his scrambled mind attempted to stitch a plan together.

"Yeah," Hannah sighed happily, resting for a moment before standing. "Better go see how Louis is."

She traipsed through to the kitchen, heading over to Louis and leaning against the counter by him. "You okay?"

After loading the object of his glee, John left the squat and begun his descent down the stairs, using the flashlight Luminen gave him and being careful at where the stairs have given out. His legs didn't tire going down the five flights of stairs. In fact he found it invigourating.

'Never better, thank you,' murmured Louis, dreamily. He made his way slowly across the kitchen, hand brushing along the counters beside him until his fingers latched onto one of the smaller knives. He brought it up to his face, seeing Hannah clearly reflected in the flawless steel surface.

She swallowed dryly, the sight of the knife in Louis' pale grasp causing her stomach to drop. Unconsciously she edged a step back, away from his slender form.

"Oh.. Good." she said, her voice soft. Louis was like an animal, and she was terrified of startling him.

After much jogging down the stairs turning 90 degrees to the left every few seconds to accomodate the stairs John reaches the exit. He stops and opens it with both arms. He walks out and stands in the snow taking a few deep breaths before running back to the fence, he takes off his pack to climb under then after he crawls under he drags it under the fence after him. Then replaces it on his back and continues his jog.
