I thought I should make a thread on this rather than clog up the minecraft thread with status updates, and this seemed like the best place for it. So, The programming of the mod is going well. I found a good platform to test it on, and part 1, that being the beam that opens things, is 50% complete. It can fire... but can't open yet (but it's a start!). Anyway, the real problem I am having is that I need some help.
So, in order to test the sonic screwdriver I'll need a model of it, or a suitable substitute. I have no idea how to make a minecraft model, and have had no luck finding a tutorial on the topic. So, if anyone who can make me one, or teach me how to, the help would greatly speed the testing along.
I'll keep you guys updated on how things are going, and post the finished product here when it is done.
