Mad World (DSTM, RaWD, NEM)

Okay, maybe "Mad World" isn't the best name for this miniverse, but we haven't figured out a better one yet.

Anyway, Mad World is a canon consisting of three primary blogs: Don't Shoot The Messenger, Ravens and Writing Desks, and Neverending Marathon. Why plug this now? Well, because the involvement with the latter has only just become apparent.

Don't Shoot The Messenger follows The Messenger (aka Messi), an apathetic hacker whose job it is to hack blogs to report when a blogger has died, as he attempts to figure out why exactly he and other proxies are so unanimously deemed the "villains."

Ravens and Writing Desks follows Poe, one of Messi's friends (and later, his roommate), as she struggles with her partner and with her life as a proxy in general.

Neverending Marathon is the tale of Donovan, a runner who strives to help as many people as he can.

This is an extended universe which has just now fully started to come together. One that has been (very) slowly building up to this for about three months now.

I really, really hope you all enjoy it.

Oh, and also, feel free to discuss it 'n' shit. Theorize. Ship. Whatever you wanna talk about, I'd love to hear.

That kind of tension normally leads to massive amounts of sex or someone getting stabbed in the eye.

Oh, so, incidentally: I'm considering actually recording the interviews Messi's done in the blog for a little behind-the-scenes thing, and I'll need additional people to help with that. I mean, I can do Messi and probably Caper, but I can't voice any of the female characters (he interviews four, and I know that it'd be impossible for two of them to be voiced by their authors), and I can't convincingly voice more than about those two. So if you guys are interested...let me know, I guess.

That recording idea would be neat. Good luck with that. I'd like to approve Atalanta's voice before you record it, obviously.

Bah, I only write one of those three blogs, so I can't really update theirs on mine, can I?

I should maybe mention that for those who don't know (since I never actually mentioned it), Ravens and Writing Desks is written by none other than our own AdmirableJellyfish, and Neverending Marathon is written by Damien. Because it's an honor to be working with both of them, and it'd be a travesty for me to take credit for their work.
