Forum Updates as of 9/14: Signature Cleaning, Vlog Feed, Podcasts, Report System, and more.

Hello there Slender Nation members! There's been a few things that have changed lately if you may or may not have noticed.

First off, there's been a change with the Vlog Feed and Podcast pages. We now have widgets that provide links to each of the main series' videos (MH/TTA, TT, EMH, MLAndersen0, and TJAProjects). Our Podcast page has done the same, since the Slender Nation podcasts can now be found on our Youtube Channel for easy viewing.

Next up, the Report System now has a "Reasons for Reporting" dropdown list to help specify what you're reporting a post for. You can still elaborate on a reason of why you're reporting a post, but it helps us understand the basic nature of the report and what to look into in the first place.

We would also like to remind members that the Slender Nation rules HAVE changed to it's current version of 4.2. These are rules you have to follow on Slender Nation, and it's best to keep them in mind and stay out of trouble. The Slender Nation Guidelines are included under the rules as well, so if you want to try to get along better around here, we'd recommend reading them.

Note: The Slender Nation rules are subject to change according to the Slender Nation Staff, to help moderate and help the Slender Nation community.

With that said, there is a particular rule we're now implementing regarding signatures.

13. Signature Content. You may have only one image in your signature. The image in your signature cannot exceed 470x165 pixels maximum. If the image is under a Spoiler tag, it can be up to 500x350 pixels. Do not stretch the page with your signature. The content will be removed if it exceeds the pixel limit and/or expands the page.

We will be going through everyone's signatures TWO WEEKS from today to remove any signatures that do not meet the requirements of this rule.

What's with the restrictive limits on sigs? It's kinda small. Why would it even matter if it's under a spoiler tag?



People have always had the option to turn 'em off if they don't like it.

Because of bandwidth issues and post sizes. Spoiler tags hide the image so it doesn't clutter up and extend a post. Pretty sure people can't turn off signatures too.
