| Fuck, now I'm concerned for my friend. I think she's getting TOO into the Mythos. She keeps deciding, "hey, I'm gonna do weird proxy shit and say I didn't do it just to scare DarkShadows because that's cool it's totes real I am really being Slenderstalked!" and it's not only annoying, it's scaring the life out of me. Today I get on Skype, she sets her profile pic to some still from TT and says it wasn't her. I'm starting to wonder if she actually thinks that the Mythos is actually real and she's getting too into it. Maybe she needs to step back and take a fucking break; I'm concerned she's letting all this go too much to her head. But damn, she can't keep doing this shit to me. It's not funny and it's not very nice when I get on Skype and the non-rational lizard part of my brain decides to take over and go, "Holy shit Slenderman got my best friend". | |

Also, I love that theme Hooligan. I can't wait to see it when it's complete.

| Maybe, Etreo. But she has been dealing with a LOT of stress lately, and her reactions are leading me to wonder if maybe she has a problem with anxiety that's flaring up. She's called me up crying because of the stress in her life right now and I've had to talk her down out of panic attacks.
The thing that bugs me is this - she claims she's been finding stuff pertaining to TT in real life, when I know for certain she's doing it herself and trying to play like it's not her. That phone call I mentioned last time? Happened because she drew a picture of the Observer and was playing (I hope) like it was actually real. She's pretending she's actually being Slenderstalked and she's doing it in a convincing enough way that I'm starting to wonder if she's getting TOO immersed into the Mythos. It's scaring me. I'm afraid she's either a) using the Mythos as a substitute for real life in order to cope with her anxiety, or b) projecting her fears onto characters in the Mythos and, instead of using that to rationalize her fears and deal with them (as I've done before), is using it to give a reason FOR her fears and why she has them. "Oh it's not me, I'm fine, nothing wrong with me - I'm just on Slendy's hitlist!" She's started getting into this so much that if she did that same shit online, she'd be gamejacking TT. I'm worried she's not coping with her stress well and nothing I say or do can convince her that she's getting too far into this. I'm scared she doesn't know how to step back from it anymore; this person I've known since elementary school and that has become like a sister to me is acting in ways that look like she's trying to break away from reality just because it's stressing her out right now, and that terrifies me.

| Yes, exactly, Bismuth. I don't know what her issue is, but I know she needs to talk to someone that's not me. I'm not a shrink, just a concerned best friend and partner in Slenderverse-related shenanigans... And it's spooked me enough that I've been holding off on watching any more Slenderseries for a bit. I just don't want to go try to unwind from real life with the same stuff my best friend is using as a crutch; it feels... wrong. | |

| You've got to try and make her understand that escapism through this medium is one of the worst things she could do. While it's better than Alcohol or Drugs, to allow yourself to be intertwined with such a naturally dark and horrific universe is really not a great course of action. If you know anybody who can talk to her, you should. She mightn't react well, but she'll understand eventually. | |

| She doesn't feel like she can go to her parents, whom she thinks will just tell her to "get over it", but there's two sides to every story. I'm gonna get her some connections to a counselor of mine, I think it might help her work through some of that anxiety if she can find someone who understands her and can talk her through this kind of thing, someone who actually knows what they're doing. | |

| I don't know your exact situation, and I hope I'm not stepping out of bounds here, but speaking as someone who has bad anxiety, getting her to a therapist is probably the best thing to do. Even if she were to stop with the Slender Man thing, there's a chance she could latch on to something else to avoid the real problem. It sucks to be in that situation, whether you're going through it yourself or watching someone else go through it. In the meantime, have some kittens, Shadows. I hope your friend gets better soon. | |

| Thanks, Hooligan. She's always been an imaginative one and always liked getting a little TOO into things. It could be that she's doing that, immersing herself to have more fun with it... but it could also be one of the reasons above I've listed. I'm gonna talk with her and try to convince her to maybe see someone who can help. Thing is though she's restricted to her immediate area and county by travel, since she doesn't have a license and can't drive for health reasons I won't list here. | |

They had it coming. They only have themselves to blame. If you'da been there, If you'da seen it, I betcha you would have done the same! Anyhow, fuck passive-agressive assholes in chemistry lab who don't want to listen to the reason why the reading on the really nice expensive scales is making the last digit of the mass reading of a hot fucking beaker keep increasing when the professor already explained that was because of convection currents inside the enclosed scale, then tell you that the clearly explained answer that you just asked the professor about to be nice and helpful to this person doesn't make any sense and can't POSSIBLY be correct (because of course, THEY are always right and fuck the police). Then when you lose your beaker tongs and think they might have taken them (why wouldn't you? They're being an ass to you, after all!), so you ask to borrow them because you think they're yours, and this person gets all up in your face and goes "well there's a million beaker tongs that look like that" acting all defensive so OF COURSE you think he took it and just won't give it back, so he continues to yell at you until you go fuck it, this isn't worth it and go get another pair of tongs only to find that your stupid-ass deskmate took them when they were clearly in YOUR GODDAMN WORKSPACE. And THEN later, the asshole yells at you for sitting down at a scale you thought was empty and not being used because, fuck, it wasn't, and they wanted to use it, so you have to ditch your reading and go to another fucking scale, all because they're a picky asshole. And THEN you try to be nice one last time when they lose their pen, and they get passive-aggressive about it and say "Oh well my pen looks like yours, but it's okay because I have another one that's just as good." Fuck people, fuck life, fuck scales, fuck beaker tongs, and fuck pens.

| I know your feels shadow. What were you doing in Chemistry, just out of curiosity? - Spoiler'd due to possible offence to Christians.:
Also, fuck religious bigots. Me and a friend were screwing around, cracking jokes for shits and giggles, when some girl a few years below me overhears and is all "How can you not believe that god exists?". Respond calmly with reason and logic. "Yeah, we have proof too!" What proof? "We'll how does something as complicated as the brain just suddenly exist?" It doesn't, evolution over millions of years created it. "No, the earth is only 6000 years old!" We have evidence explaining otherwise. "Those fossils are from the devil, to test your faith to got." (Getting a short fuse at this point) Well then I guess I'm going to hell then? "You can repent, god will forgive you!" If he's do all forgiving, why is there suffering and a hell? "Because he's given you your whole life to make the right choice!" Why doesn't he just tell us he's real then? "He tests your loyalty to Jesus" Why does Jesus want me to die for him? "Because he died for your sins." Nope. I wasn't alive 2000 years ago. "He died for humanity!" So how does one life equate to 7 billion, not including everyone who've lived and died on those 2000 years? "Because without him you wouldn't be here!" (Majorly pissed) Prove it. "We have the bible, an-" We also have C.S. Lewis' Alice in Wonderland, does that make it true? At least it was written by one fucking person! "But they were the disciples of Jesus..." (Kaboom)
I won't go into exactly what I said. It wasn't anything personal, and it wasn't anything I'd consider to be hateful, but I'd been having a rough day and to be honest that was the raisin in my shit biscuit. Did I go too far SN?

C.S. Lewis wrote fucking Narnia, not Wonderland. That was Lewis Fucking Carroll.
Also, seriously fuck it when you're trying to get over your distaste for persons and be a nicer fucking person this year in general and not be as shitty as you've been, when those persons have to fucking throw a low blow at you for the purpose of riling you up. The fuck is your fucking problem? I'm not going to stop thinking you're jerks but I at least want to drop the stupid fucking passive-aggressive bullshit.

| I was just calibrating glassware, it was the first fucking lab of the year. -_-
And no offense Etreo, but I make it good policy NOT to touch anything about religion ever and NOT to get involved with people like the one you're talking about. I'm not giving any opinions here but I will say that maybe you should just learn to ignore people like that instead of engaging when they start up. I've gotten a bit of it too, being Agnostic myself, but when people start that shit I usually just go, "Look, we're not gonna agree on this, ever, but I'm not gonna debate with you about this. Let's discuss something else." And then if they continue I say, "Alright, well that's certainly something to consider isn't it? See ya around and have a great day. ^w^" And then I fucking leave. Because fuck letting ignorant people who can't or won't see outside their narrow little box drag your whole day down.
