Entry #56 Discussion

I loved the vocalization of the cough at the end, and the clarification for why the time gap between the previous entry and this one, but I'm still not to sure I'm liking standing still Operator. The movement at the end of #54 showed such promise. Meanwhile, the distortion levels were pretty good, and much like as we saw in season one, Alex certainly becomes more of an ass. Poor Tim, beaten up while taking a leak. Finally, did Operator knock that camera off the ledge with his powers or something? If so, that was pretty cool.

Here's my thought process:

First third of the video: "Dat Alex Ass"

Second third of the video: "I c u thar operator symbol"

Final third of the video: "Braining someone while they're taking a whiz? Not cool bro."

I'm pretty sure this takes place the day before Entry #51. It explains a few things (for example, why Tim was there), and the events match up.

Neat Entry though. Not too long, not too short, and some Slendy as well.

I like how this wasn't that creepy until the end. I honestly expected it to just be another breather episode, setting up for what happens with Brian. The Operator is starting to look a bit silly, though. Maybe if he had been distorted more or something. *shrug*

Um I don't quite know what alex grabbed at the end, but it looked like a stick.
And if that's what it was the most that would have happened to Tim was just a slight sting :/ they should have seen Alex grab like a rock or a big metal bar

I'm pretty sure it was a thin metal bar or rod that Alex grabbed. I don't think he was out to kill Tim, instead just wanting to knock him out. He could've killed him, but he didn't.

I mean, I was expecting something twisted to happen, but not that.

I wonder if Tim ever finished his whiz.

1. I think we can place it right before entry 22 and 51, so Alex first "victim" was Tim (on the third floor?), the second was seth (in the Basement, Entry 22) and the third was Brian on the next day (ground floor, Entry 51), what makes sense if we look back to the conversation between Brian and Alex in 51: Brian: "Where's Seth at?" Alex: "We came out here yesterday, but he wan't feeling too good so he stayed home today" <-big lie.

2. In Entry 55 they said that they wanted to "scout the location" at the next weekend after the events of entry 55, but here Tim said that "i thought you forgot about this place because it´s been so long since i told you about it" and alex just replies "stuff came up" - so either something must have occured to not make them go there or alex was already there by himself.

3. Alex seems to stare on the Operator-Symbol and after that he changes his behavior instantly and he seems to be constantly distracted, so it gotta have some influence to him.

4. Operator Sighting at 5:03-5:08

5. This could be the reason why Tim is now Masky and it also indicates heavily that Tim is also TTA (Alex thought Tim would be unconsicious for a longer period, but he wakes up shortly after Alex goes away and can escape, that would also explain TTAs last Video).

6. So the Entry 13 and especially TTAs "Exit" would take place after the events of 56, 22 and 51.

1: Alex has always been the bad guy.

2: We know he's had some kind of contact with Slendy when he was a kid, perhaps he's had some kind of brainwashing/mind control done on him. As pointed out early, his attitude completely changes in this video as soon as he looks at that operator symbol on the wall.

So perhaps it's like some form of "sleeper agent." the symbol is the trigger?

Regardless of what it is, this video and the dialogue at least confirms what we suspected. Alex could be the one responsible for everyone's "disappearance" which he said in that one entry I can't remember the number of a while back.

I've never thought about the possibility that the Operator Symbol is some sort of trigger, let alone that it makes Alex go all alpha.

Maybe he's saving him for later. Maybe because there's something that Tim has that Alex can't have and he's trying to get it from him.

Anyway, good entry. loved The Operator at the end. But poor Tim. this leads me to think that Tim is trying to protect Jay. I also think Alex is working for TO. But this is Marble Hornets we're talking about so, I'm not so sure.

Honestly, I don't think I'll ever fully understand MH. Anyway, I didn't particularly like The Operator in this video....not sure why. I think its because we saw him in daylight this time and for a solid few seconds. He stood still and, while thats creepy at night and causes instant terror, in this video nobody is scared and you're just lookin at slendy and he's just derpin until he's gone. It took me a while to realize Alex actually picked up a metal pipe/rod, I thought it was a thin piece of wood at first, but yeah. I don't understand this at all.
