Thanks to this thread, I now cannot get the image of Jay wandering around with a rain cloud above his head out of my mind palace.

You know, these recent tweets make the totheark video "Forecast" look hilarious in hindsight.

Another update. Looks like it's definitely a TotheArk hack.

Either that, or like Jay is becoming heavily affected by the Operator and maybe even turning into something like TTA. That was my first impression.

Not my impression, seeing as there was also that picture of Tim that was uploaded on his twitter...but yeah, maybe. That would be really sad :c

I remember reading about a theory that suggested that Jay did upload videos to his channel during the seven-month timeskip, but they were all deleted. I remember thinking "What? But we didn't see anything..."

That's where the theory took a turn: Jay lost his memories of everything that happened that seven months, so maybe the viewers lost their memories of the videos.

Where am I going with this? Well, maybe Jay's been tweeting to us, trying to get someone to help him, but the tweets keep being deleted by whoever is hijacking his account and the audience is forgetting them.

Though there's probably a better explanation for what's going on, the theory is kind of fascinating when you think about it. Why is Jay trying to play detective while sharing his videos with the world? He told Tim it's because he wants to let people know what happen. So, by taking that away from him, by making people forget Jay's communicating with the world, it could be the Operator's/totheark's form of breaking Jay.

... I know that. It was a theory that discussed in-universe reasons why Jay wouldn't update anything the entire seven months while he was gone.

It's an interesting theory. That seems a little bit more ambitious than what the people behind Marble Hornets have been attempting thus far, though. Despite the Twitter feed, MH is a series where the fourth wall is very much intact.

I'm just hoping there will be more videos coming soon. I haven't seen any good ones come out in awhile (which for me is 2 weeks haha). Hopefully it won't be another few months.

Just from the speed of the tweets, I doubt that it will be. We'll probably see a new video within the next week. My guess is that they decided to film a video during the storm, which is a little bit of an undertaking in and of itself (working with nature is...well, the effect is delightful when it works). That would mean that it's going to need editing and whatnot before they post it on YouTube.
