An idea that's been nagging me since season 1 ended

Or, rather a mental image.

Jay driving Masky around, under the pretenses of a road trip to find "the ark", desperately trying to strike up a conversation, and Masky sitting in passenger seat, staring out the windshield, bored. And also Masky having a huge binder full of randomly assembled papers containing vague directions to where "the ark" is.

I haven't the slightest idea why I can't get this out of my head, other than the inherent comedic potential of Masky and Jay going on a road trip.

What do you think, associates?

Masky: TACKLE

Kinda reminds me of a conversation I had on Unfiction where we decided that HABIT is rooming with Slendy and the Rake on the Ark, and that one of the trials would be for everyone to knight them sweaters because they can't afford the pay for the heating bill (HABIT just can't find a job, the Rake isn't house trained, and Slendy never got paid for his acting part in a student film. Plus, Masky keeps freeloading off them, but he's friends with Slendy so HABIT can't just kick him out.)

I remember that, Omega. I chuckled hard.

It can be a fun read, but you need Jack Daniels every time.

Okay, attempting a drabble based on this idea, AND TYPING IT WITH MY EYES CLOSED, AS ANY FANFIC WRITER APPARENTLY CAN.

Driving Mr. Masky

Jay drummed his thumbs on the steering wheel, sighing as he looked sideways at the masked figre beside him.

"Where do we go now/"

The masked figure attempted to tackle him. Jay pushed a smal button on the electric dog collar they purchased for this very purpose. Some might say it was kinky but rather Jay thought it was neccessary. Masky twitched and did not answer the question.

They had been trvalling like this for days now. Jay wondered what had become of Jessica and Alex but chats with Masky generally ended with blackouts or esle horrible camera distoriton. A binder full of papers lay in the backseat, imcomphresnible. Occasionally, Masky would run a finger on the the dirt caked onto Jay's car, a circle with an X drawn through it.

"The Ark." Masky explained.

Masky snatched the keyfob away and demanded that they pull over in a McDonald's parking lot.

"Hungry?" Jay asked.

"The Ark goes with the hildren. We can listen to them speak."

"Right." Jay said and pulled further into the drive-thru as Maky tried to tackle him once again.

As for his question, teh answer was always the same. Where were they going now?

Always, to the ark.

Sounds great! Can I just request that you signify a MASKEHTACKLE with some kind of silly, high pitched noise?

That's a bit of a tough one to figure out, Lucia, seeing as Masky never actually does any tackling in this.

Also I can't think of a noise to make, other than a girly "EEHEEHEE" (which might be part of Masky's voice in general). XD

So long as it is made fantastically clear I wrote this with my eyes closed and unedited. My first dramatic reading, of course it would be the one I wrote with my eyes closed... But thank you and please post it if you do read it.
