I was not expecting this. Well, I'd like to thank my family, my friends....

Thanks to everyone who voted for me, I'll do my best to do credit to the great blog (and actually finish reading it.)

Seriously, though, I say we start working on blogs. There are a lot that don't require multiple characters. Moriarty can start working on Seeking Truth (if he hasn't already), it sounds like Jeebles would make a good Damien (unless anyone has an objection), and I can start working on my own (hoho, screw the order) and maybe a few more if needed.

LET'S GET SERIOUS ABOUT THIS, PEOPLE!

Brutal honesty incoming:

This project is a snake with no head. It's been writhing and coiling about pointlessly since its inception because of the lack of leadership. I may not think that big things in life need a tyrant overlord to run them, but for smaller projects, even like this one, a group leader/oversee-er is needed.

I've been doing nothing but hopping up and down going OOH, I WANT TO HELP WITH WHATEVER IS NEEDED since everything started, even providing voice samples if there's any open spots, but alas, there is nobody in charge to accept or deny or assign me a new helpful position. But this isn't about me. I'm sure there have been other opportunities wasted because everybody in this thread is acting only as a participant, and doesn't seem particularly interested in STEERING this effort.

TL;DR
We need somebody to sack up so we can get down to brass tax and actually organize how we're gonna do this.

Step forth, Audioblog organizer. You are among us and have yet to assert yourself.

No I haven't, because up till now I've been standing in the doorway with my finger raised, trying to work out what was going on here. The whole thing seemed to fold in on itself,

I will start working on recording the first few entries, the ones with just Zeke, but due to the massive revision I have to do, progress will be slow.
That's just a head up. I'll try and get the first post recorded and sent off in the next few days.

Vivi, if no one else is willing to, I'll take charge of the project. After all, I think it may have originally been my idea (but maybe I'm just vain), and I'll gladly work on organizing this.

Okay, first of all, if anyone Slenderbloggers on here want to record their own blog, that's good. Start with that. You're not going to meet with much resistance.

If we're going to work on Seeking Truth, we're going to need a few characters yet. Primarily Lizzie and Conaghan. Anyone want to audition for that?

Also, Zander, do you think it'd be possible to get something about this in that scrolling feed, just to get the word out?

I'll through my hat in the ring, and do my blog. It may take some time so don't expect reasults straight away. Plus If they're going up on the youtubes, then I can include the pictures that my blog has. Just be aware of two things:

1) My voice sounds like nails down a chalkboard (to me at least),

2) My blog (probably) isn't the best out there.

But, I'll try and start recording on this weekend sometime, probably just the first few entries for a test run. I was going to do it at some point, but while my blogs on a short break, I might as well begin

Best way to do that is to set the video as either unlisted (so it doesn't appear on any channels, or searches. Then you just hand the link out, or embed it); Or if you want to go even more private, you can set it to private, so that only friends can see it.

I was recently given the go ahead to start DiD, beleive when I say almost nothing could make me more happy. The only problem is we still need side characters. I'm not up to date on the status of the Seeking Truth audio but I think they need side characters to. If anyone is interested in being Ted, Lizzy, Albert, Simon, etc. please submit here and all shall be well.

I see a Lizzy, which is presumably a female's name so HERE I GO.

I'm too lazy to go and voice a post from that blog, but I suppose going by Theater Etiquette, when you audition, you shouldn't really audition for the play you're reading from as your sample anyways.

Anyway, I'm bumping this because some people have decided to sort of restart this idea: audio adaptations of blogs. If you think you'd be good at voice acting, add me on Skype and tell me you're interested in helping do audio recordings of blogs.
